Try to round your fingers more and that will help make the sound much more fluid like what ramenred17 was trying to explain. Kanon is quite touching, but mostly light hearted through the anime, like Air.

Clannad is more tragic, but still overall somewhat light hearted. I think Clannad is a biiiiiiit sadder than Air.

I can see you pausing every now and then to try find where to play. Funny, I do the same thing =P I'd say the best way to counter that is play it at a pace that suits you and gradually speed up. Another thing, if you need to take break, take them in between motifs. You play beautifully and you have great technique, but you might be able to further your skill if you try to let the notes flow more like water when you play...like...try to give each note more emotion? No, this wouldn't be a jazz piece. It's more trance, I think. Or pretty close to classical. All the acciaccatura make it sound like it. The quick notes, in other words, like the one that starts the piece.

yea i agree..it is so sad. i think part of the reason why is the music! its so beautiful, and it begins playing at just the right moments when you're on the verge of crying. this piano piece can trigger a lot of emotions...and sadness is only one of them.
