Interesting idea... but in practice it doesnt seem like it would fare well unless you are one of those who are "legally blind", in which your vision is severely impared, but not void.

Like other people said... what if the blind man can't find the barcode?

Course an alternative is to add some sort of magnetic/electronic signature onto the products that such a device could "pick up", allow them to know what they're handling.

The background music really spoils the video and it is tough to hear the explanation. It would be nice if the background music is removed or replaced with a softer one.
