  • I love how this song begins so soft and welcoming. I think that what this song is trying to speak to our hearts is that we should be conformable with who we are and not be ashamed for look down at our past. I feel comfortable when this song starts to play. It calms me down.

  • after emarosa, dance gavin dance i found an other hidden gem with explosions in the sky im very thankfull for that and eventough there not well known or mainstream i can really appreciate and love this music cuz it comes from the heart.

  • Ok. I feel lucky to appreciate this magnificent. Pinche me.. Is it real? I'm in HEAVEN.

  • just discovered this band a few weeks ago....now everything ive heard before them is useless.

  • Lovely, love it.

    <3

  • Amazing band... i can't stop to listen ... OMG stunning song... this album is really without words... I LOVE IT ! Yes... not all have the ability to appreciate music like this....

  • does anyone else hear "Hotel California" in the beginning just a little bit?

  • Oh my word this song was so good live..

  • Feel that? .. .. Its Perfection

  • I listen to this when I write.

  • I wonder how these guys are live...

  • @clamshire They're amazing

  • @clamshire its like watching all the atoms of the earth flowing right towards the sky.. saw them last night in London, it was not a gig, it was an experience.

  • I'm in the middle of a Philosophy paper and listening to this band makes my thoughts much more clear.

Thank God for Explosions in The Sky!!!!

  • @SportsNewsNow no not at all, I just enjoy post rock

  • Stupenda

  • 8 people are not comfortable

  • @BlaZingmoon87 they probs think .... wheres the singer

  • <333 I think my heart stops working at the sound of such beautiful music...ughhhhh

  • <3

  • This is what I listen to when I need inspiration. I love my EDM more than anything else, but this...this gives me feelings unlike anything else I have listened to. As a Chef I create a journey with food. They give me that journey with music.

  • i feel very lucky to discover a band like this! god i love post rock!

  • I'm think I'm having a transcendental experience.

  • Im always to concious of of myself. I know that most of my friends are stuck in these fake perceptions of the world, or that maybe im way to deep and put way to much into view, or over think things a little to much. Maybe my heart is in the right place to much of the time and im too considerate. I found EITS, and TWDY a month ago, now I know there are people who see thimgs in my light, and they describe it in there music. It helps.

  • I love explosions songs where they have smooth guitar rip and piano rhythm and then has a hard drum drop it gets me going-3

  • 5:44 and onwards seriously makes me feel like I'm dead and floating through space.

  • The only thing that doesn't make their songs like this great sex, is it only lasted 8 minutes 48. (album time ^_^)

  • I wish I could meet everyone who enjoys this type of music. It seems like it would be a pretty enlightened, easy-going, fun crowd.

  • Takecare takecare

  • Call me selfish or whatever, but I think its better that music like this isn't listened to by the masses because it just can be enjoyed only by us.

  • @george32323 not if you were to lock them in a room for eternity

  • @george32323 Hipster?

  • @george32323

I was just thinking the same thing, right on man. EITS forever

  • @george32323 yes, not all have the ability to appreciate music like this ...

  • @george32323 Don't worry that's not being selfish, just hipster.

  • @george32323 Enjoyed by who? the hipster cats?

  • @george32323 I totally agree.

  • can listen to them all day.....=))

  • im drunk not stoned

  • I dont like to be stoned and hear explosions, it teleports my brain to negative thinkings!

  • who says you have to get stoned to enjoy explosions?

  • @magpie2015 fools

  • some people like it harder, some people like it faster, Different people like different things.

  • For people who are annoyed that more people don't recognize the great music that EITS is: this music isn't meant to be highly popular. Music like this will never top the chart even if it was mass distributed for free. This music deals with intricate emotional experiences of sadness, struggling, joy, overcoming, and humanity. Many people have shut themselves off from having real emotional experiences because it makes them feel too vulnerable. Plus 8 minute songs are too long for the climax

  • @elysian1111 8 minute songs aren't long enough for the climax

  • 6 people aren't comfortable

  • It kind of bugs me when I see comments saying "dudes you neeed a vocalist!! Damn!!" and stuff like that. There are plenty of other bands that sound like this and have lyrics. Go find them. EITS is an instrumental band. If we had lyrics to listen to, our brain would be focusing on processing the words along with the beat rather than the beat with the sound. EITS doesn't even need lyrics; the music speaks to us much more than words would, in way unexplainable. GO EITS <3

  • @unforgettable903 Well said

  • beautiful.

  • It plays on the emotions, but isn't that creative, imo. Kind of like John Edwards Crossing Over.

  • 3am and you're getting work done, drinking tea & listening to EITS. Seeing these guys in January :)

  • give a glorious thumbs up if you saw them at lollapalooza this summer.

oh, btw fuck you arctic monkeys. you suck.

  • after listening EITS you will see that every other noise is hurting your ears... #_#

  • Beautiful.

  • here is what you must do to understand why people enjoy this music.

Shut your eyes and relax let your imagination and thoughts flow. if you still cant understand why i love this music then i guess you never will. i feel really sorry for those who don't experience this the way i do.

  • @KoEDeath +1

  • I have this song on my poetry website.. makes a great experience, when reading the poetry ;) anyways.. thank god for Explosions In The Sky ♥

  • Magical Tune 2:30

  • one of my friends write his stories listening to them and I've noticed that I've begun to draw more intricate designs :) it's very relaxing music <3

  • I am still here. I am still imagining ideas for videos. I want to turn them into reality. With Tired Eyes, With Tired Minds, With Tired Souls, We Slept is a priority for me. I have a few ideas for that song.

  • @xChonRenox always

  • @xChonRenox aye

  • Every song on this album brings so much emotions, some of it gets me to cry.

Is it possible that the makers could walk on water? Because it's Godly.

Every song in it's own way, lifts my spirit a little, & calms me down, maybe I'm not the only one, but all I know is there's nothing that could possibly be more amazing than this. <3

  • I swear every time i listen to Explosions In The Sky an idea emerges out of nowhere it seems, and then another one until my mind begins to explode with ideas, I even write some of them down.

This band does more than gift music, it gives me reason. They make me think beyond my imagination, Thoughts are flowing out of my head right now and i can't even begin to express them in words.

This Album Take Care, Take Care, Take Care...I must have it.

  • @ChampangeSuperNovaz That sounds great! Be sure to wright down as many as you can, they might come into use in the future :)

  • @ChampangeSuperNovaz Exactly my reaction to them. Well said (:

  • @ChampangeSuperNovaz what are some ideas u thought of, do u mind vaguely sharing?

  • @ChampangeSuperNovaz It does the same for me...

  • @ChampangeSuperNovaz did you have mushrooms with your breakfast by any chace?

  • @MehmTex No, I did not ingest Psilocybin Mushrooms or any kind of mind altering drug. I just took in the soothing sounds of Explosions In The Sky.

  • @ChampangeSuperNovaz

I don't think I could have worded it better myself. This band creates about the most inspiring music I've ever heard! I was listening to them in my headphones while driving home last night and I had the most amazing poetry going on in my head. Most of it didn't make sense, yet it made complete sense. Hard to explain. It was tremendous.

Mind you I was high... but in that moment, the universe felt complete...

  • @ChampangeSuperNovaz Are your thoughts exploding in the sky?

    BA DUM TSS

  • this is magic, really

  • what can i say...soundtrack of my life

  • doskonała ! :)

  • this is beautiful.. reminds me of a lost love, but still cant stop playing it again

  • Like acoustic guitar played through a wind chime. Strangely and hauntingly beautiful.

  • my god why am i just now listening to this...and i call myself a eits fan. well, better get on itunes and buy the album. brb.

  • @silentmelody12 you never came back. : (

  • @silentmelody12 better yet. listen to it here, enjoy it, buy tickets and see them live, AND the buy the album at the show.

  • I drove from seattle down to portland last fall for their crystal ballroom show, got off work at 3, had to work the next day at 7. No sleep, lots of driving. No regrets. Bliss

  • The sad thing is most people are to closed minded to experience the beautiful and mind altering journeys that Explosions in the Sky creates and plunges you in when you hear real music, but because they don't have lyrics they go unnoticed by the people who think the newest Seether album is gold. You don't need lyrics to create a story with emotionally driven sound that was carefully wrote and preformed to birth something so overwhelmingly beautiful and creative that it is breathtaking to hear.

  • @AstroidxAndy Totally 100% agree with you there

  • @AstroidxAndy What's wrong with Seether?

But regardless, I like this band for the same reasons I like Buckethead (especially the "Shadows In The Sky" album). Instrumentals are great, and usually have a lot of emotion in them and take you further than most songs ever would. Great band, Bucket as well.

  • @AstroidxAndy I like Seether and Explosions in the Sky. Just saying.

You don't need lyrics, but they definitely help. The lyrics tell a specific story, and some people like hearing that specific story. It's usually much easier to hear. You don't have to use your imagination as much, or think about it as much, unless it's vague or unclear, like something 30 Seconds to Mars would write, lol.

I didn't like instrumental music for the longest time, probably because of that.

  • @AstroidxAndy thank you

  • as a musician in the past (no longer unfortunatly). there is about 5 points that i counted during this song, where i was like, goosebumped. the wait is over, and damn was it will worth it. cant wait to see em live with the new material.

  • thx 4 share it. [2]

  • really nice melody, i like it! thx 4 share it. Bye

  • dreamlike ~~~~~

  • super

  • There are three monsters amongst us

  • Most amazing band, ever.....

  • If the day comes when people are able to make soundtracks for their lives, mine will be composed of Explosions in the Sky.

  • @Phavorii back when i was in high school in 2003 when earth... came out, i used to walk into school everyday to either that or white pony from deftones, and just look around like, dude... haha

  • @theft0fheart

School turns into the best place ever with music in your ear. Until someone rips the headphones out or you accidentally walk into someone lol

  • shit

  • I just bought this album, so glad i did :)

  • This song is a beautifully bold echo of pure feeling and a statement of our existence in this immense Universe.

  • @Backdrifter88 dont try so hard

  • i hate how their new albums only have a ahdnful of songs but i appreciate the amount of work thought and dedication put into them compared to the typical mainstream garbage

  • Best song on the Album, A real grower

  • That lovely part that comes in at 2:40 sounds like a kind whale.

  • @danec1987 That beautiful sound is made with an ebow, my friend :)

  • @alanpunkz Indeed it is, I'd really like to own one to make whale noises of my own!

  • who are the two thirteen year old bieberites who disliked this beauty?

  • Lyrical genius, that is all.

  • @schwartings223

Exactly. How do you not like this ? Music is not just vocals, there is something being said here without even having to open a mouth. I'm sorry this isn't your radio bullshit where you start hearing some auto-tune bitch within 5 seconds of the song starting. You know that great things take time right ? Explosions builds their music so it all comes together by the end of the track. You're one ignorant waste of skin if you can't open your mind and recognize the beauty this song has

  • @schwartings223 i feel sorry for you

  • @schwartings223 i feel sorry for you

  • i got the album today and it fucking folds out into a house

  • I got this Today inn Canada and I love it!

  • i feel like since The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place they lost some heart. where's the feeling that I get from "The Only Moment We Were Alone"? not here. "Postcards from 1952" is the only song that meets the standards they set for themselves. and they've grown more repetitive like other instrumental post-rockish bands.

  • @TheColorChord It's "Postcard from 1952" not "postcards...", and this album is unique, obviously will not appeal to all fans, whereas The Earth Is... appeals to just about everybody.

  • @VagrantWatcher213 Take Care, Take Care, Take Care is one of the best albums I've heard in a long time... This music makes me think of scenery in Texas.. Places like Big Bend, Alpine, El Paso, and even Austin (where they're from). Austin's actually got some really beautiful scenery.

  • @RalphCQ I agree. I actually rank it up at the top, right with their extended play The Rescue.

  • On my ipod, I don't have explosions in the sky filed under 'post rock'. I have them under 'sent by god'

  • great song! it takes me places

  • You know a song is good when you haven't gotten a single person disliking it. Even the trolls have to admit that this is good stuff.

  • the music is incredible...the artwork on the other hand...yeah.

  • @anewcleardawn undescribable, i know ;)

  • Definatly buying even though i allready dl'd it as a torrent. Can't wait until it arrives in Canada

  • I just had an explosion of happiness in my pants.

  • My favorite band. Without words they do it every song

  • this band is beyond criticism

  • Great!!!

  • love it

  • I wanted to listen to their whole album all the way through, this is the first song and I can't get beyond it. It's been an hour, and I'm still on the first song.

  • this music is the greatest when upset.

  • If only their show in The Woodlands weren't during Finals.. :/

  • 56 likes and absolutely no dislikes, perfect.

  • just saw them at the National in RichmondVA they were so sick!

  • @1drewr

lol songs are always available online before a physical release.

  • Already pre-ordered the vinyl double LP! Only seven more days until there show at Radio City!!!!!

  • @fearloathing91 AWESOME! SEE YOU THERE! I'm in the orchestra Pit! :D

  • True fans will buy the album, putting a song on youtube doesnt make ppl download it, they will do that anyway.

  • the only one really great track on the new stuff

  • This is my favourite track on this album at this point in time.

  • seeing eits at bonnaroo gonna be so prime

  • music in its purest form.

  • Consider it bought.

  • Trembling Hands aside (which I thought was merely ok), this is a masterful album. Certainly up to the quality of a band who consistently puts out amazing work. It's getting better every time I listen to it too, which is always the sign of a really great album.

  • ill buy it

  • not really i allready bought the vinyl version,if a band is awesome enough like they are they will be ok.

  • This is blatant stealing from explosions. People will just download this and not buy the album.

  • @BTinHD Nah I'm grateful I can listen to it now and I will buy it like I did all their other albums. :-)

  • @BTinHD i like that youre protective of eits, but you dont understand us as a fan base. wed travel 1000 miles to see them for a show, wait days to buy tickets, and check their website daily to see if they have anything new coming out or are coming to where we live. all of eits fans love them for their amazing music and hold their songs near and dear. well listen to this jacked music now but buy their album in april to give back what amazing music theyve given us.

  • @thevintagesoul1 hell yea
