actually, I came here trying to compare WTC destruction with a purposely demolished building, thinking they'd be identical... and found one GLARING difference: There are multiple explosions, very audible, all up the skyscraper in this video...something that is completely missing from 9/11 footage. If the WTC towers were purposely demolished, wouldn't there be lots of explosions/pops all along the height of the buildings? Just saying.

Read 102 Minutes. Detailed explanations of how the towers were built, why, etc. The fireproofing on the buildings was tested and only lasted 30 min, not up to building code. Also, the fireproofing was falling off. If Port Authority cut corners with the fireproofing, they probably cut corners elsewhere. The weight of the buildings was on the outside, not on the inside. If the weight were on the steel core, the steel doesn't have to melt at all in order to give way.
One thing we did not see with the twin towers was a pile of rubble! After everyone went back in to help find survivors, they expected a pile of high rubble! They did not see that!! Everything waspretty much ground level!! Everything was blown away, shooting to the sides as they were collapsing!!

There still was concrete in the building. In an implosion, the concrete would have been accounted for. If the towers were a controlled demolition, everything would have had to go right not only once, but three separate times, if you count building 7. The worlds tallest controlled demolition is 439 ft. in Detroit. Both towers are 1300+. That's three times the record! It's unfathomable that two towers that tall would be imploded error-free and no explosions were heard on video.

I've seen many videos of the WTC collapsing, and my grandfather was actually just blocks away from the towers. I never heard any explosions in the videos, and he never heard anything either, other than the planes crashing, and the ultimate collapse.

Re: Rangerbelt's comment ... thermate melts metal, it doesn't really make noise. Thermate is used for steel-frame buildings, because you have to cut through the steel beams to do a safe demolition. You don't want a skyscraper to fall over during demolition, you want it to fall straight down.
Not to mention that many explosions WERE heard by eyewitness accounts including firefighters. And the WTC collapses were non traditional, top to bottom collapses, so we wouldnt hear the majority of the base clearing explosions we hear in a normal demo at the time of collapse. We heard those detonations weakening the base long before collapse lol. The progressive top to bottom detonation trail could have easily been muffled by the collapse itself to onlookers.

@splendid1000 You have no knowledge of structural engineering. The significant amount of weight of the twin towers was supported on their steel outside walls. The rest of the weight was supported on the main core in the middle of the towers. Both of these supports were badly damaged at the points were the planes hit. The floors of the twin towers had no columns to increase the available office space inside. Steel framed buildings and reinforced concrete buildings are not the same thing.
You have no knowledge of structural engineering lol. The core was responsible for 75% of the weight, and the WTC core and many other sections WERE made of reinforced concrete. Period.

The concrete core only provided additional vertical load support. All the lateral loads were resisted by the outer steel walls. @KungFriedChicken The plane didn't vanish. Among the various things they found, besides scraps of the fuselage, is wheels from a 757, parts of the engines, chairs and chair pieces from the plane. Eye-witness testimony puts a plane flying into the building(multiple eye-witness accounts). Physical damage to the surrounding properties corroborate the eye witness testimony.

i suppose you could say they were lucky that both wtc towers collapsed perfectly straight down in exactly the same manner even though they were both damaged on one side, could've taken out many more blocks if they had toppled over on to the weak sides, i'm suprised more people didn't run away before the collapse though, guess they knew that skyscrapers have never collapsed like that before!

Read 102 Minutes. Detailed explanations of how the towers were built, why, etc. The fireproofing on the buildings was tested and only lasted 30 min, not up to building code. Also, the fireproofing was falling off. If Port Authority cut corners with the fireproofing, they probably cut corners elsewhere. The weight of the buildings was on the outside, not on the inside. If the weight were on the steel core, the steel doesn't have to melt at all in order to give way.

There still was concrete in the building. In an implosion, the concrete would have been accounted for. If the towers were a controlled demolition, everything would have had to go right not only once, but three separate times, if you count building 7. The worlds tallest controlled demolition is 439 ft. in Detroit. Both towers are 1300+. That's three times the record! It's unfathomable that two towers that tall would be imploded error-free and no explosions were heard on video.

But I've watched plenty of videos form that day, an dI compare them with videos of random buildings being demolitions and they match! IN the search box of youtube put in: " High quality video of WTC collapse " You will here the same exploding noise as in this video and plenty of other control demolition videos!

I've seen many videos of the WTC collapsing, and my grandfather was actually just blocks away from the towers. I never heard any explosions in the videos, and he never heard anything either, other than the planes crashing, and the ultimate collapse.

@Netlocd it just so happens that when a building loses its structural supports and falls thats what it looks like. your right it takes months to prepare for a controlled demolition... clearing out the building, weakening supports, setting charges and det cord. no way they could sneak a demolition into one of the worlds largest office building. yes there were plenty of fires and they were definitively hot enough to weaken the steel support beams. look at the facts and evidence. don't be naive

And the towers WERE made of steel not reinforced concrete.

Re: Rangerbelt's comment ... thermate melts metal, it doesn't really make noise. Thermate is used for steel-frame buildings, because you have to cut through the steel beams to do a safe demolition. You don't want a skyscraper to fall over during demolition, you want it to fall straight down.

Not to mention that many explosions WERE heard by eyewitness accounts including firefighters. And the WTC collapses were non traditional, top to bottom collapses, so we wouldnt hear the majority of the base clearing explosions we hear in a normal demo at the time of collapse. We heard those detonations weakening the base long before collapse lol. The progressive top to bottom detonation trail could have easily been muffled by the collapse itself to onlookers.

Conspiracy theories aside then WTC twin towers were made of steel, not reinforced concrete.
That was one of the main reasons why they collapsed. Steel loses its bearing capabilities when exposed to high temperatures.

@splendid1000 You have no knowledge of structural engineering. The significant amount of weight of the twin towers was supported on their steel outside walls. The rest of the weight was supported on the main core in the middle of the towers. Both of these supports were badly damaged at the points were the planes hit. The floors of the twin towers had no columns to increase the available office space inside. Steel framed buildings and reinforced concrete buildings are not the same thing.

@splendid1000 Yes, the core was made largely of reinforced concrete but it was the inner box steel frame around the concrete core that was responsible for most of the load bearing of the core. The concrete core only provided additional vertical load support. All the lateral loads were resisted by the outer steel walls. Therefore the WTCs cannot in any way be called reinforced concrete structures.

Jet a does not burn immediatly. It only burns within a very limited set of conditions.
As far as the thermite theory, give it up. Thermite is made from powdered aluminum oxide and iron oxide. What was the WTC made from? Yep, steel and aluminum. Dum, dumdumdum.

I don't know for certain what caused the windows to blow out, but I DO know it was not a CD. It is impossible for the timed explosives to go off and not be heard for what they are. Fact is, there is eyewitness testimony, physical damage, physical evidence at the crash-sight and all about the lawn that is in favor of anything but a small military air-craft.
As far as no large jet on the ground? Wrong, there is pictures of large chunks of the plane, including engine pieces, fuselage, landing gear, in some cases seats from the jet.

@tlages man even thou the footage of the plane hitting the pentagon is pretty poor with a extra low quality security camera.. and the plane is apparently between frame rates.. it still shows that there was no 757. There is well enough frames from when the footage first starts just before the mystery plane crosses the lawn, to then the very start of the fireball and as the fireball gets larger in size.. a 757 should of stuck out like dogs balls, and the tail should be visable yet to hit

@KungFriedChicken The plane didn't vanish. Among the various things they found, besides scraps of the fuselage, is wheels from a 757, parts of the engines, chairs and chair pieces from the plane. Eye-witness testimony puts a plane flying into the building(multiple eye-witness accounts). Physical damage to the surrounding properties corroborate the eye witness testimony.
