  • How interesting that Jamaica, Haiti, and Puerto Rico are referenced here. All three were just recently hit by a hurricane.

  • This was on a cassete tape. Does anyone know the title?

  • I always found this song funny when I was a kid! I WAS always looking for my island! Haiti, Jamaica and Puerto Rico are in the wrong places on this "map"! LOL love it still!

  • damn this is so nice :)

but i search for the german version since a long time :(

  • He pronounces Carribean wrong!

  • u spell Caribbean wrong! LOL . nice video

  • u were the best kermit!!!

  • I'm 25 and i totally love this song! I sing it to my kids(:

  • @taintedflutterby

I am sure that you kids get a lot of enjoyment from it! I know I would!

  • Nice song!

  • "Sometimes to Haiti he hops..."

He actually went to the Dominican Republic, not Haiti.

  • wow, i get feelings that i haven't had since i was 4 or 5 watching these!

  • this is so cute!!

  • i remember this one like vividly. awesome!!!!!

  • *-* <3 ribbit ribbit

  • it should of been "he hops to the dominican republic then to puerto rico where he finalli stops" he cud he forget the dr?

  • Or "Sometimes, he hops to Jamaica, sometimes to Hispanola he hops, sometimes to Puerto Rico beach is where he finally stops." But you gotta admit, it's a fun song, and not a bad little geography lesson, either.

  • "Sometimes to Haiti he hops" He did not say Hispanola.

  • Technically not, but Haiti is on Hispaniola.

  • I'm talking about what he said @ 0:53 not what was shown on the map.

  • Well, okay, if you wanna get technical about it.

  • wooo love it!!

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!

    <3

  • This is very Jimmy Buffett of Kermit!

  • So that little frog is Kermit's cousin? Aside from color he doesn't seem to be much different from Robin, but maybe an inch bigger.

  • Awesome...nostalgia!!!

  • priceless

  • I love Kermit

  • I think that little frog is voiced by Kevin Clash. Not sure, though.

The purple frog kinda reminds me of Micky Dolenz for some reason . . . .

  • More likely it's Jerry Nelson, who voices the Count and Kermit's nephew Robin on the Muppet Show

  • I know, but it doesn't sound like Jerry Nelson to me.

  • it could be either, it sounds like almost a mixture of robin and elmo.

  • Yeh, the "ribbit ribbit" at the very end sounds a lot like Elmo to me.

  • now that you mention it, absolutely. its gotta be kevin clash.

  • thank you so much!

  • This has always been one of my favs i wished they showed it more, back then. Sesame Street now is just not the same :(

  • Kermit is AWESOME!! Long Live Kermit!!! :D

  • you are awesome. I saw this in the summer of 1993. so long ago. thank you!!!

  • I love this I haven't seen this for ages. I haven't seen it sence I was 3 years old.

  • i haven't seen this in years! wattamack4,congrats on the 200th post!

  • I love this song, last night I was singing the first verses and had to find the lyric. Then I later noticed it was representing my country of national origin Haiti, when things were good. Wow, Sesame Street was the best and is still the best. I love this original version more.

    Thanks for uploading it.

  • I have been waiting forever for this to be uploaded. Thanks!

  • Wonderful Song!

  • Awesome. I love this version :P

  • Haha! I love this song. When I was on my cruise and when I went to Puerto Rico I would sing it at random times. It's great to be able to see it again.

  • Haven't seen this one since I was little. Great memories. Thanks for the upload!

  • I've seen the "Carribean" frog before on another skit.

    Very cute!

  • That was a fun song that taught us a little about the islands of the Caribbean.

  • Finley the orgianl and the best.

  • Why do you think I've been requesting it for so long?;)

  • One of the best Kermit songs ever: you made one heck of a choice for clip #200!

  • This song was one of my most vivid childhood memories from watching Sesame Street. It's also my favorite Kermit song. It was always such a catchy song.

Kermit and the frog singing a duet together near the end is adorable-and the ending is also priceless

  • Thank you so much for finally uploading my childhood favorite that I have been seeking for months on youtube. You have no idea how many sesame street posters here that I have asked.

Once again thank you for posting it for me and other viewer to enjoy.
