I loathe the GOP because it's full of uptight white men who are afraid of change and cling too tightly to tradition. Most Democratic politicians also seem to have no spine, and many of them are just too liberal for my taste. I'm conservative on things like crime, and I'm pro-death penalty.

I despise the gov't trying to tell us what we can adn can't hear on tv or the radio or any other broadcast media. I despise nosy parents regulating with the FCC. I despise "safety" and helmet laws. I despise just about every sign of a nanny state.

Mike Gravel was the DNC candidates' Ron Paul, but it's too bad he didn't have near as much of an impact.  DNC voters put all their weight behind fucking Obama and Hilary, perhaps the 2 LEAST qualified candidates. Hell, I have more respect for Joe Biden and Chris Dodd than those TWO! DNC voters must truly be idiots. At least the Republican voters nominated McSame, someone who's just as conservative on the important issues as Bush.

Tell them that we don't all fit nicely into their Democratic-Republican spectrum. Most Americans are actually moderates, and only about 40% (or less) combined are liberals and conservatives.

Hell, I find the idea of political parties disgusting in the first place. It causes too much blind faith and partisanship to a certain faction. I was a member of the LP for about a year, but then I didn't renew it. I hate the idea of being some shill for party leaders who want me to just follow them

If parties aren't renewed and refreshed every so often, they get stale, like the 2 parties are today. Both parties have no new ideas. The only guy in the conservative-Republican faction I see with any new ideas who people really pay attention to is Newt Gingrich. Hell, I considered joining my College Democrats once, but then I realized just how partisan and meaningless it is. They rejected new ideas I put forth.
