Observer effect has nothing to do with which way anyone is facing - the observer effect is to do with the fact that an experimenter is part of the experiment - conflating unrelated material in a pseudo-intellectual attempt to justify metaphysical crap by palgiarising science to lend it credibility is just lame.
Ok templarseries, as if that's not lame and most def pseudo! What is your argument in your past five comments? That even though it's a similar anomaly, it's not related? Well first off, explain how Swedenborgs heaven DoESNT have to do with quantum mechanics....wait that implies you've read heaven and he'll which u clearly haven't so I'm trying to figure out what it is u think u know about it.
Observer effect anyone?.....no not really - a similarity between one thing and another does not prove that one is linked to the other. The Conspiracy Theory mind finds dots and joins them up - presto Swedenborg is a Qphysicist!
I am sure people can find corollaries between QP philosophically and other more spiritual views. Fritjof Capra did it in TAO of Physics - but the links are superficial - rather like comparing a marsupial wolf with a mammal wolf - they look the same but are nothing like each other. If you read WHOLENESS AND THE IMPLICATE ORDER you will have QP and not need any spiritual input from elsewhere.
Hey your video is awesome! I stumbled upon Swedenborg in the most unlikely way, while half-listening to a librarian read a story to little kids about Johnny Appleseed. For some reason I was motivated to research Appleseed as soon as I got home, most especially the religious persuasion that caused him to be so "eccentric". I already had a strong study background in dimensional reality and quantum physics so I was amazed when I finally got my hands on a Swedenborg book. "Heaven and Hell" rocks.
Excellent video. You are a true seeker--and you will find much in Swedenborg. Blessings to you on your journey.
Your final question deserves an answer. We do not start off in heaven because we need to chose it for ourselves. That's why we all start off here on earth. In this way our freedom is protected. That's Swedenborg's explanation, and I agree with him.
Heaven is not in our unconscious it is a place on the other side of life. When I say place I mean state because it does not occupy space.
Swedenborg himself warned of the dangers of trying to enter through the veil, he himself suffered greatly and was tormented horribly by bad spirits, and he had God, the Divine One, guiding him through his journey.
I wish I could find the references for these statement in swedenborg's writings he explains it much better.
"The kingdom of heaven is within" and "the kingdom of heave is here now, only men do not see it" are statements by christ with which I wholeheartedly concur. As Jung explains there are various levels to the parts of our mind of which we are not conscious. Once we get past our own legion of idiosyncratic complexes, which have "I" thoughts like we do and experience themselves willing and acting as we do, there is the universal area. Torment is from the aspects we are unwilling to face/accept.
sorry if i break the spiritual talk here, but you are hot! ;) andd i don't really believe in this stuff, i mean it's interesting and all, i really wish it was true but something inside of me tell me its not. so thinking about just make me sad so i better not :).

there is no spiritual world, science needs observation and experiment to establish some thing, angels dont exist how can we opbserve them or test them, this vid sucks balls.
Tersse is right. You should require evidence to support these ideas, not a bunch of personal testimonies. The video doesn't make any sense. "Metaphysics & supernatural" aren't meta or super anymore? They're reality? Based on what? Testimonies from deluded fools? What source has been lost?
And what has any of this to do with quantum physics, seriously?
@guitaoist I have not read any physics books, and you don't seem to have read any either. But I know enough to know that heaven, angels and other imaginary items have nothing to do with it. Quantum physics is about understanding the behaviour of hadrons and other subatomic particles. Again, require evidence!
@guitaoist And studying rats is far more tangible than your personal delusions. Seriously, wtf is wrong with you. And you know they do a lot more than study rats. Don't be so crass. You're a product of science, been immunised in any of your recent lives? Do you enjoy the luxuries science has produced, sayyy... computer? Or are we communicating telepathically?
@Boy192 Objective reality has a VERY small place in the spiritual concious being. If that is what you limit yourself to, then I have to say good luck to you and peace. LOL Actually, I feel sorry for those who experience life in a PURELY objective "reality". HAHAH Because the objective reality is not the complete picture. LOL You sound a little, no VERY, high on your own "education".
@Kostly Yeah, reality does have a very small place in the conscience of stoners like yourself -- I mean, "spiritual beings". Provide evidence for your mumbo jumbo beliefs, it's the decent thing to do if you want to assert their certainty. C'mon, it's not hard. OR you could try getting an education yourself.
@Boy192 If I saw a ghost I would be scared. For whatever reason. If I saw an alien I would tell the person next to me " I told you so". BUt, I've never experienced this. All that matters is what I experience. However, that doesn't give me the right to behave like some spoiled petulant brat that thinks they know everything. Grow up, yo!
@Kostly I don't think I know everything, I just think your claims, like all important claims, should require evidence! Why can't you fairyologists grasp that? Your superstitious ideas have been around longer than civilisation, and still don't have a shred of evidence.
@Boy192 Quantam Physics is pretty much a mystical experience. LOL Any quantam physicist will have trouble admitting such. But, the fact remains...they only have an inkling of a clue. LOL
@Boy192 Instead of spending your energy negating the personal testimonies of others and making the ridiculous implication that evidence should be required of those speaking about the spiritual world, try asking questions. Maybe he could teach you a thing or two. It looks to me like he's sharing innocent reactions to the writings of Swedenborg.
@jaredoaks Evidence increases the probability that a notion or phenomenon is true or exists. If you can't collect evidence for it, or test it, then chances are you're deluding yourself, and therefore you are unable to teach another, as you are not philosophically-minded and have no knowledge to share. Spiritual world, fairy world, Santa Claus world, underworld, limbo etc. -- all unsubstantiated and so equally improbable. Empirical evidence -- get some. Simple.
@tersse I feel sorry for you if you think the entirety of the "world" can be included in the science game. Please. Your psyche is proven weak simply by your words. LOL
On one side it's interesting to hear what Swedenborg talk about the spiritual world; but on the other side, the most important question is the purpose of this life. I"m sure that's the purpose of he's writing.
Like many would ask, why can't someone come back from dead to tell us if there's life after death. Now we know that reality, what's next? It is about our faith in God.
Ever seem like you're guided to open a book to a particular page to glean insight into something your contemplating?
Have you ever tried to induce this mechanism? If you do and try to comprehend it's source and function, like the wind and the lightning, our connections unfold into the transcendental.
A precious few authors weave transcendental immanence into their work by referring to the reader with foreknowledge of her circumstances.
