Observer effect has nothing to do with which way anyone is facing - the observer effect is to do with the fact that an experimenter is part of the experiment - conflating unrelated material in a pseudo-intellectual attempt to justify metaphysical crap by palgiarising science to lend it credibility is just lame.

Observer effect anyone?.....no not really - a similarity between one thing and another does not prove that one is linked to the other. The Conspiracy Theory mind finds dots and joins them up - presto Swedenborg is a Qphysicist!

I am sure people can find corollaries between QP philosophically and other more spiritual views. Fritjof Capra did it in TAO of Physics - but the links are superficial - rather like comparing a marsupial wolf with a mammal wolf - they look the same but are nothing like each other. If you read WHOLENESS AND THE IMPLICATE ORDER you will have QP and not need any spiritual input from elsewhere.

Hey your video is awesome! I stumbled upon Swedenborg in the most unlikely way, while half-listening to a librarian read a story to little kids about Johnny Appleseed. For some reason I was motivated to research Appleseed as soon as I got home, most especially the religious persuasion that caused him to be so "eccentric". I already had a strong study background in dimensional reality and quantum physics so I was amazed when I finally got my hands on a Swedenborg book. "Heaven and Hell" rocks.

Your final question deserves an answer. We do not start off in heaven because we need to chose it for ourselves. That's why we all start off here on earth. In this way our freedom is protected. That's Swedenborg's explanation, and I agree with him.

Heaven is not in our unconscious it is a place on the other side of life. When I say place I mean state because it does not occupy space.

Swedenborg himself warned of the dangers of trying to enter through the veil, he himself suffered greatly and was tormented horribly by bad spirits, and he had God, the Divine One, guiding him through his journey.

I wish I could find the references for these statement in swedenborg's writings he explains it much better.

"The kingdom of heaven is within" and "the kingdom of heave is here now, only men do not see it" are statements by christ with which I wholeheartedly concur. As Jung explains there are various levels to the parts of our mind of which we are not conscious. Once we get past our own legion of idiosyncratic complexes, which have "I" thoughts like we do and experience themselves willing and acting as we do, there is the universal area. Torment is from the aspects we are unwilling to face/accept.

Quantum physics is about understanding the behaviour of hadrons and other subatomic particles. Again, require evidence!

On one side it's interesting to hear what Swedenborg talk about the spiritual world; but on the other side, the most important question is the purpose of this life. I"m sure that's the purpose of he's writing.
