@dohmmi : it depends on what u see closing your eyes ... personnaly i just see a sunny little street full of a buzzing crowd where ppl feel just happy because of the sun ... so for me, the tempo is really prefect
@dohmmi : well unfortunately no, i stopped playing piano in my early teens and played guitar for some years ... but u dont need to play music to be sensible to the message of the composer ... yann tiersen is mainly delivering a fugacious emotion, so no need to try to know how it has to be played, just try to feel what he wants to tell us (somtimes the title helps)
@dohmmi : the point is that there's no good and bad emotions, there's just many emotions ... i told, for me the tempo is perfect because i feel it right but i can understand that other ppl feel in a different way, teacher or not, absolutely no matters ... and it seems yann tiersen feels an other way than u, and sometimes (on other tunes) an other way of mine - that's all what's interesting in music
and btw, plz post ur version, would love to see how you feel it
