Think about fighting an equally tough apponent for up to 3 hours, the stamina it takes to work all those muscles at that intensity for that long is second to none. @dinrise97 The american pitbull terrier packs more strength pound for pound then any dog breed. They have the stamina, wind, agility, mobility and most importantly game. They can easily wear out a dog much bigger than them and win by pure heart alone. They have the blood of champions and thats the bottom line. The kangal just doesnt have the genetics and can be beaten by well bred pitbulls. Dont believe me google powerdog beats kangal.

Their are dogs that are more agile, have more stamina, stronger but it is the unnatural gameness to kill his fellow dog or go after whatever his owner tells him to that seperates the fighting dog. What the ghetto trash don't realize is gameness or heart for fighting cannot be trained, it is there or it isn't.

@mangravy2000 Some breeds do have more stamina when it comes to running and some may be stronger because they are alot bigger. But when it comes down to it none of these dogs are warriors. Think about fighting an equally tough apponent for up to 3 hours, the stamina it takes to work all those muscles at that intensity for that long is second to none. They are hardworking machines, they can stand the heat and the pain.

Many dogs would not pursue big game and they talk of Airdale Terriers being somewhat successful but suffered too many losses due to its tendency to close (attack) the animal which was with lion always fatal. . So all terriers were dismissed. No short legged terriers could stay up with the horses in the heat. Now in the southern USA hunting boar but they must have armor and they show up in trucks.

Besides I was never talking about hunting with the apbt although they do excell at this task, I simply said they are the warriors of the dog kingdom willing to take on all comers regardless of size. I was simply pointing out to dinrise97 there ability to take on a dog much larger and win when you chimed in.

GAMEness is what the terriesrs have and this fighting gameness that has been bred into them for hunderds of years makes them tops in fighting. Non-fighting dogs don't understand that this is to the death for the PBT. That video shows Kangal not fighting stock. When PBT is biting his front leg he should bite, neck, belly, but instead submits.

It cannot hunt without a tracker or sounder, cannot swim the strongest, it cannot bay, it was never taken anywhere during mans ventures into the frontier because of its willingness or stupidity to close on large game. Bear, bull, lion, boar destroy all terrier breeds. I don't blame the dog it's man creation of a useless breed.

@surleyguru AGAIN, READ and don't ignore it!!! Bears had teeth removed, claws removed and was chained to the ground. Bull had its horns trimmed and dull and chained to the ground. Lions same thing, claws and teeth removed and chained to the ground. All 4 animals were never hunted with terriers because they get KILLED AND DIE!!! The breed would still fight till the death regardless thats just the heart they had that weak people like you just will never understand. It's ok for kangals(alabai) to fight and actually it's neccessary for them to fight pretty offten because otherwise they degrade. It's NOT OK for kangals to fight other dogs, because Kangals(alabai) don't bleed and they have very thick skin. I agree it's not ok for pitbulls or other dogs to fight, because it's very inhuman torture.
