  • I'm Galician and I feel proud of my Celtic origins. We do not have Celtic influence in our vocabulary but we do have it in our strong accent. I listened to some Breton, Irish languages recordings and I can say the accent is quite similar. Moreover, the Celtic heritage is also shown by physical features; typical Galician ones are pale skin with a light red colour on the cheeks, even blond hair, but this happens also due to Suevic invasions (Germanics).

  • i always cry when i hear this song. its so powerful. it was played at my grandads funeral and its such a moving song. i love it when the pipes start, gives me shivers and goosebumos everytime!

  • Shaun please bring the Pilgrim back to Glasgow.I missed it back in the nineties on that Hogmanay night at the Concert Hall as I was not allowed time off from my work. Please!!!!!!!!!!

  • myself and a few friends had the pleasure of being asked to play pipes on A'ghrian and Briochann & Columba at the Koroll in Lorient 2003, alongside a wonderful orchestra and vocalist. an amazing experience and sadly one which i was unable to get any video footage of afterwards. nonethless, proves to all that bagpipes and orchestra can really work in perfect harmony

  • juste fier d'etre celte.....!!!

  • @triskel973

  • I've just had the luck to be part of a massed choir at the St. Patrick's Day concert 2008 - Belfast Waterfront Hall.

The whole evening was an amazing experience and this is a lovely piece to sing.

Thank you so much Shaun and Rita from the St. George's Singers.

  • Would love some footage of Rita singing The Deer's Cry.

  • I cannot get HEAR ME from the waking Ned soundtrack if anyone could upload I would be utmostly grateful-thank you
