Very impressive run man. I could have never imagined a time like yours. I've just got 59 minutes, but that's with a full "proper" playthrough with all the storyline gear in order until you choose the final 3 before the final battle. I've yet to try the path under the water and look forward to seeing what kind of time I can pull off. Thanks for posting this!

@CharlesJClark The natural route in under an hour, sounds cool, did you start off fully freash at level 1 or not?

@Greenalink I was around level 40 at the time. I did 12% of the items. It can certainly be done much faster. I'm trying right now to get through the trap door in the water and I'm finding it challenging. Looks like I'll have to start over as trying from the save after the turantula isn't leaving it open for me. :( Some say there's a 30 second timer from the barrels, I've done it in 26 with no luck.

I acicdentally got foam early on my regular game, and it caused the cutscene to not trigger when you normally get it >.>. So I had to restart.

Seems to me like the same engine as SSBB's Subspace Emissary (sp?)
