I voted for Obama in 2008 but I wasn't one of those overzealous nutjobs who thought he was the next messiah. For me he was a fairly obscure candidate and the better alternative to a frightening GOP ticket. Nevertheless, I won't make that mistake again. No way in hell I'll vote for that sell-out in 2012. If a good Independent candidate turns up, I'll vote for him or her. Otherwise, I may have to hold my nose and vote for a Republican.

While I admire many of Paul's positions -- and believe he's one of the most honest candidates (and the least reliant on big campaign donations) -- he advocates things that I consider bat-shit crazy. He wants to give states virtually full power to do anything they want, including (if they choose) banning abortion, allowing race/hate descrimination, installing theocratic laws, etc. Paul is a dangerously mixed bag.

I voted for Obama in 2008 but I wasn't one of those overzealous nutjobs who thought he was the next messiah. For me he was a fairly obscure candidate and the better alternative to a frightening GOP ticket. Nevertheless, I won't make that mistake again. No way in hell I'll vote for that sell-out in 2012. If a good Independent candidate turns up, I'll vote for him or her. Otherwise, I may have to hold my nose and vote for a Republican.

While I admire many of Paul's positions -- and believe he's one of the most honest candidates (and the least reliant on big campaign donations) -- he advocates things that I consider bat-shit crazy. He wants to give states virtually full power to do anything they want, including (if they choose) banning abortion, allowing race/hate descrimination, installing theocratic laws, etc. Paul is a dangerously mixed bag.
