Hi, I was just wondering, once I have put a pages document onto my computer, would it be possible to put the word document back into my iPad and into my Pages again? Thankyou I would really appreciate the help :)
@coldplaymaniac1 Hi, thanks for the great question. Yes you can transfer your docs back to pages again. Just plug ipad to computer. Go to iTunes, search for the apps tab, scroll down till you see sharing apps. Click on add file, then select your doc to transfer. Then click sync and you should be able to find your doc on ipad. If this is confusing, head to my channel as I made a video concerning your question. Hope this helps. Thanks.
@The7guys hi, sorry for the confusion. video was made before update. the export button should be one fo the icon with the arrow button. hope this helps.
back to author: no problem: your videos ARE very helpful for me as I just bought an ipad and needed to figure out pages so I could continue to do my work, so thank you for at least making a video that was as straightforward as this.
@cheerzmeupz don't be sorry, you're absolutely right. this was my very first video i ever did so i was extremely nervous. anyway, thank you for watching my video and have a great day. peace :)
@martinebvoi Hi, thanks for the great question. Yes you can edit docs on Word and then send it back to iPad. Just keep in mind that there might be some changes when you get it to the iPad, such as fonts. Hope this helps.
@MILeyBERs Thanks for the great question. Yes, you should be able to edit your docs. If it opens in pages, then you can edit. Hope this helps. Have a good one.
@KurtoEfc95 thanks for the great question. Yes it does work for vista and word 07. As a matter of fact I was using both ms 07 and vista when recording this video. hope this helps. have a good one.
Hey everyone. I don't have an "Export" option when I click on the button down the bottom. It just says: Email document, share via iWork.com, Sent to iTunes, Copy to idisk.
But no "Export" option. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
@bluebarron351 Hi, thanks for the great question. select sent to itunes, this will then allow you to transfer your file via itunes. Hope this helps. Let me know. thanks
@iColin15 LOL. thanks for the great comment. Sorry my camera is horrible. In the market of getting a new one. Do you have any recommendations? thanks, and have a good one.
Awesome thankyou for this and the exporting to ipad video. I'm considering getting an ipad but wasn't sold since I thought you couldn't word process on it - i'm sure that's what everyone said! Done deal now... what do you do? I'm a senior teacher and think the ipad could be very useful
@fvnan Im glad it helped! Yeah a lot of my friends were hesitant on buying the ipad for the exact same reason of not being able to do word documents. Im finishing up my last year in college, and I have found my ipad to be useful for many occasions during classes. Have a good one.
Thanks. I was thinking about buying an ipad but wanted to make sure i could transfer documents between ipad (pages) and computer (word) first. Is their a way of doin this without using itunes e.g. via e-mail? if so could you please explain how to me. Thanks!
@xALLENxBOYx93x Hi, thanks for the great question. That's very smart to wait before buying the ipad. Yes there is a way to transfer your word docs to pages on the ipad via email. As a matter of fact, I transfer all my apps via email to pages. It's faster and convenient. With the new update of pages app released yesterday, you can now transfer all your word doc. to pages and vice versa. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions. Have a good one.
Fantastic! Thankyou very much for your help I really needed it!!
