i always use the deep end route it is almost impossible to defend no matter what skill level. but it gets less potent against lb's that cover the middle and zone defenses stuff like that

way too many interceptions in madden...plus a cover 2 defense would easily disrupt this play

cover 2 wouldnt do anything the safeties each take one half of the field which leaves the middle open. a linebacker might mess with it but even then with patience you can make the throw

I do curl and slant passing routes often, the easiest to get a good 20+ yards without fail (usually)

Hell yeah. In Madden 09 (piece of junk really with Xbox 360, with all the problems and freezeups-especially in franchise(the only worthwhile part of the game for me)) get devin hester on the slot to slant inside, you get a first down damn near everytime. Got about 200 receptions and 35 TDs or something for him in a season doing that; 4min qrters all-madden everything but run game(even though madden stats are retarded).

On every football game i've seen so far, the cornerback will jump up backwards and swat the ball down by lifting his arm up, without looking at the ball. and the reciever isn't in a motion to catch the ball yet. Awesome 6th sense..

a good route is first make the play play action then do advance routes up this makes the covering man go up for the play action so ur deep guy is wide open
