it's the Ha'iku stairs and you could see them when driving on H-3 freeway. as soon you come out of the tunnel you'll see the stairs along the mountain.
that hike was back in 2001 and it was close off at that time but that did not stop them and us from climbing.
there was also a log up there that you sign and write comments in. it was cool reading other peoples blogs. the hike took us about 2hours to make it to the top and halfway up some of the stairs were missing. it was replace with ropes so you have to climb. i recommend that hike if you ever stop by on oahu, hi.
