  • they featured the starburst thing a looong time ago!!

  • omg the starbust girl is amazing

  • i like toffee

  • thank you. I saw the video a few days ago and now it's on my to-do list. XD

  • lol

  • make did a thing on that, mostly just get a good pattern, 15 or so bags, iron them all together (after cutting it so it isn't really a BAG anymore) and sew stuff back together.

  • they have a vid on it

  • hey my name's erika. i'm the starburst girl on this video. : ) message me with any questions you have, i'd be happy to answer em.

  • hey. how do you make the chain? i'm curious to try it out. i love starburst

  • i made a tutorial video on it. it's on here, just go to my profile and check it out. : ) happy chaining.

  • how did that girl make those shoes? i like them so much!

  • Hello head bangers,

I love the show as always, very informative, creative, and fun! I look forward to watching more. until then I'll be creating my own stuff to hopefully post on your site in the future.

    Thanx,

    Bek

  • Thanks for your great comment! We're looking forward to seeing some of your creations.

  • can you really make one of those for a real baby??

    seems like a tight squeeze.

  • actually, babies seem to find it comforting to be tightly bundled.

  • hey! you guys rock! thanks a lot ive always wanted to sew stuff

  • i love how you say CAREFULLY pin, etc. omg its hilarious howmany people out their show on and stab themselves, and out it on thinking its funny even though the item sucked! omg funny.

  • u're great thanks

  • I'd like to know the response to the comment that drawstrings are dangerous for babies!!

  • the response is hey, i'm sorry. i don't have kids so i didn't know about it. my original design called for elastic instead of a drawstring. i just moved and don't know where to buy anything and couldn't find elastic anywhere. not a good excuse i know but we all make mistakes and that is how we learn.

    use elastic instead.

  • but they are still very cute for stuffed animals!

  • omg that is soo freakin cute

  • Hey Theardbangers, my sister's prom is coming up and I promise her I would make a dress! But the problem is my town's libray if limited(Very limited)! I looked all over the internet and I still can't find any patterns I looked through the links you guys had too. Either I'm not looking good enough or I just can't find any. So I was wondering if you two could find(or make) a prom dress. Thanks!

  • THEY USED A STUFFED ANIMAL!!! The doll will not choke. If you are concerned, then use elastic yourself. ONLY POSITIVE COMMENTS PLEASE! These kids rule.

  • Oh, stop it. Nobody attacked the hosts, so you don't have to get your Frodo sword out.

Drawstrings are very dangerous for babies, and the Threadbangers need to modify this design. Don't shoot the messengers.

  • Tis right!!! Drawstrings are DANGEROUS for babies. they can get caught and strangle.

  • Holy Jama Llama

    That hoodie is amasing.

I wanted to make a hoodie a while back.

    However the sleeves are evil.

    pure and simple.

Either that or im just a moron.

  • i hate to call you a moron, but sleeves are usually one of the easiest parts for me..but maybe it's just me

  • i dont mind being called a moron.

    Do you have any tips?.

i would greatly apreciate it :).

  • i really wish i had some tips, but it's just like a second nature thing...i just do it

  • ok well thanks anyway.

ill just attack some of my dad's t'shirts until i can do it.

  • Sleeves for a baby pod should be easy, since you can just cover the baby's hands. Measure the arm hole around, and divide it by 2 pieces, plus a half inch on each piece for seam allowance. Measure the length of baby's arm, plus an inch or two, and sew all around, and sew the bottoms to the arm holes for some closed sleeves.

  • I found the girl! She's weathergirl112! That dress is amazing!

  • The starburst items completely blew my mind. I am in total awe of that girl.

  • WARNING:

Nothing for babies should have drawstings as they are a choking risk. Also, leave out the armholes. Baby's limbs are too delicate and must be protected.

This is a good idea overall, but needs just a few modifications.

  • thats so cool! i wanna learn how to sow :(

  • Yay, auf Wiedersehen, Corinne! ;)

  • You two are just the most awesome people on YouTube! I love you both!

    Love,

    Gypsy

    XOXO

  • those starburst shoes were really cute..

  • yeah, but it was such a brief shot of them. How did they do that?!

  • Definitely agre... wtf XD

Here you take the sweater, cut here and... done XD.

  • The starburst clothes were awesome. My only question is: what did she do with all that CANDY? If I had that much...I'd weigh 400 pounds more than I do now.

  • I wonder if penguins can eat starburst...That was ffriggin awesome! I though it looked so cool in the picture and she made it out of STARBURST!

  • Yeah. Something for pets it's a good idea.

I'd like to see something similar to the baby pod but my idea is for a raincoat for a dachshunds or for larger dogs.

Waiting to see fun clothing for our best friend.

    Ciao!

  • I'd die to watch something about DIY for my doggy. It's a large one, a bobtail. And at the moment it is quite cold and rainy here.

PRETTY PLEASE! Have a pet DIY vid! :)

  • wow that outfit was amazing!

    talk about creativity and imagination!!!

  • Okay I'm loving the baby pod, but I don't have babies I have pets. When are you going to do diy for pets??? I love your vid!!!Great job!!!

  • They works great for cats as well.

You have to convience the cats though.

  • OH MY GAGA!!! what is the viewer transmissions lady's NAME? or whatver. I MUST know how to make those wrapper chain things. I think it's really creative and would LOVE to learn how to do it!!!! hmm... episode inspiration? but seriously. i saw a gum wrapper chain wallet in union square for like 30 bucks. pssht. with your help... i might be able to ehm... MAKE ONE! so i'll get to eat my candy and have it too... sorta.

  • AHH I WANT A STARBURST TIE!!!! how do you do that???????

  • Yeah, the drawstring is probably a problem, but maybe you could sew in a little piece of elastic at the top of the hood. That might gather it enough to keep it up loosely over the baby's head.

  • yeah, the drawstring looks like its choking that stuffed animal

  • DO NOT EVER use a drawstring on anything for a baby or small child--this is a major choking hazard!!!

  • Woah man. I was thinking about that corset and wondering if I'd ever have the guts to wear something like that outside. Then I thought about it, and instead of getting a "woah that looks ridiculous", you'd probably get more "oh my gosh, did she make it herself"'s. kudos to that. ^^

  • mad skills to the guy makin hoodies..hmm.. i wanna make hoodies, im like obsessed wit hoodies.

    <3

  • Oh my gosh the Starburst dress and shoes! That's awesome. Really.
