I had an awesome idea. Redstone can travel through certain blocks. Iron allows redstone power to travel through 3 Iron Blocks. Gold allows 5 and is the best conductor. Diamond would be the worst and only allow 1 as well as glass.
thank you so much you have been such a help, you helped me finish my bridge i had no idea that i had to use redstone torches and stuff. thank you so much
@ToZaTop it took us forever to try and make the bridge because we had to remove all the dirt and stone bricks from my castle, we also put like 20 levers around the real one and their all connected to dispensers. so yea its awesome
@gamezonic you dont really need sticky pistons because the pistons are under the block you dont need to move the blocks sideways. all you need to do with this design is normal pistons.
You should give brenybeast credit i think because the redstone is basicly exactly the same as brenys drawbridge but other than that good tutorial this is a pretty neat idea oh and i did not know that redstone went through glass its crazy i thought i knew everything haha ( not really ) :)
You're brilliant. Thank you.

TheWoraxeTribe 2 months ago
@TheWoraxeTribe make sure you use repeaters between the redstone lines so the power could reach further distance.
