  • Thank you everyone... your kind comments are appreciated :))

  • Wow, this is amazing. I have never joined yarn before, but am completing a baby blanket for my cousin that is requiring 3 skeins of yarn. I am just about down to the end of the first skein and was getting nervous about joining. This seems to be an excellent method, and I will be trying it with my sport weight yarn!

  • I do that and then I put some clear nail polish on and that's it all done .

  • Great video. Well done! Thank you.

  • thanks. I'll try it!

  • nice information...how about with homespun yarn :-( at times they get really so loose..

  • I tried it and it has worked so far! thanks!

  • How do you think this would work with silk (slippery) lace weight? Oh, how I hope you say...BEAUTIFULLY!

  • @LRF965 I have done it with fingerling and slippery cotton yarn, but, I think the only way to know is to try it on a scrap piece of the yarn in question. Hope it works for you

  • Great tutorial - thank you!

  • can i do this with an acrylic yarn? I sure hope so! this vid was great.

  • @SuperLottie99 Yes absolutely,,,, I use it even on cotton yarn. Any yarn that has 2 or more ply's so you can split the strands.

  • BEST joining technique I've ever tried. Thanks for doing the video.

  • Brilliant! Thank you! Am furiously knitting fingerless gloves for a requested gift and panicked when I came across the knot.

  • @MsCellany Glad the video helped you... I didn't invent this, just made the video for those that like to see how it is done. Cheers!

  • This is fantastic! Thanks for showing me!

  • @Momo3Reds That join saved my life this morning while making a pair of mittens I found a knot in the yarn and of course it couldn't be on the top of the hand... nope it was on the palm where it would show. Did my braid and knitted away. When the mitten was finished I couldn't find the repair till I flipped it inside out and there were my little tails. :))

  • Love it. Very clear.

  • Awesome video, it helped alot!! :)

  • This is wonderful. Thank you so much!
