while they probably did mix his voice with someone else's for this movie, he does sing on his own. He's actually a legit guitar player (he's ridiculously good too).

Sterling confirmed on his twitter that Drew Ryan did sing some of his songs on the soundtrack because sterling was very busy filming SWAC etc. so he didn't get to the set of starstruck untill 4 weeks before they started filming.

some tracks his voice was mixed but he has said that he IS singing on starstruck and drew is backing vocals
