  • Damn i wanna learn how to dj!!!

  • @sergio9ll well its work, this is more advanced, even i cant do this, im almost there tou, i have 3 years in the industry, i recommend you buy the numark mixtrack pro, great beginner dj controller, then upgrade to the mixdeck, then to the ns6 or ns6 then finally the pioneer cdjs

  • okay its unnatural and crazy but really have you looked it to the end??

  • this man is magical.

  • Thanks!

  • I'd love to see how Zeke has his Maschine mapping set up. I've developed my own mapping which I'm very happy with, but I'd be curious to see how others have their Maschines mapped.

  • When he looks at the camera at 1:22 he's pretty much saying... "Get ready for this fucking shit! ;)" Aw yeah! Fuck yes! Dig it brother!

  • What mapping was this? And is that one pop up light out :)

  • @WienerBurns I think its down?

  • this is traktor scratch pro, not traktor pro >:(

  • i have 2 cdj900's and a djm800, and an audio 10, and traktor pro 2. is there a way i can set up my cdj's to have native 2 way control with just usb? or is it better to use timecode cd's? ive been trying to set up my cdj's for about 2 weeks now and whenever i get the audio working, i can't have complete control with my cdj's, but when i get that working, my audio only comes out of one channel. im pulling my hair out. if theres anything anyone know s that will help i'd really appreciate it! thanks

  • man that guy tore up datsik's fire power.... so sexy :D

  • NI really need to release their stock cue point template for Maschine in Traktor... I mean sure, it's easy to make but it'd just be handy...

  • After watching this video, I am definitely getting this software. Thank you!!!

  • i actualy figured it out....if you are using a regular computer....not a 2000 dollar mac with the highest proccessor out there..traktor has a setting that will analize and configure each song while loading to the deck ...this will detect the key, bpm, and place, grid markers.....under the settings config. and under file management....i unclicked it so i would not analize each song anymore while loading....analize your folder with al your music prior to playing a gig and for fun for no lag

  • @SteFFleN My $700 Toshiba Satellite does fine w/ analyzing tracks live in case anyone was looking for a cheap alternative to Macs that still performs really well

  • @SteFFlen I have a HP ProBook it was 600€ and it works fine! Scratching and analyzing songs are no problem and my Cpu still have reserves (not sure if i can say it like this hope you know what i mean) But if you want to save some money don' t look for mac look for the hardware in the macs and compare it to other laptops

  • @mrfatjoe208 thats not the point, when it comes to routing audio virtually, PC programming is a bitch to work around. If you want to spend an hour downloading third party software and trying to configure something audio related. Theres plenty of of PC's out there that outperform macbooks, however configuring your audio to PC is very annoying. Try routing the decks from Traktor pro w/ live inputs into seperate channels into ableton live, while also having maschine synced on PC.

  • geil alter

    hammer mix

  • ive been looking at new computers actualy, macbook pros to be percise..........even when build your own on the webpage....highest amount of ghz u can put on one is 2.8ghz.............the proccesser says its a 6750M apposed to what im using which is 3300M

  • could it be a settings issue?...that and im about to throw 4 more gigs of ram in my computer to make it run faster and get the best out of my proccessor

  • @SteFFleN Prossesor/ Sound card. I have same problem. Its says you need at least a 2.4 Ghz but id recommend a 3.4+

  • hey man wonderin if you can help me out..loved the 23 min of review on traktor and it helped alot..im running the scratch duo 2 with audio 6 interface, and stanton st150 S arm turntab les and last only one traktor kontrol x 1 not 2 like you lol.......the problem im having is the latency between loading a song on to each deck....... example.....have song A playing on deck A and when loading a song on DECK B to start to cue in, i hear terrible latency on the song thats playing.....any ideas?

  • @SteFFleN even if the track has been loaded on before? maybe trying changing buffer rate to higher

  • Dam that was dope

  • how do u set a beatmarker when using the grid? u didnt show how to set one because u already had one set, sorry if its a dumb question im a noob :)

  • Nice mix

  • awesome! exactly the kinda indepth over view i was looking for.

  • :0

  • Great Video, just got traktor and gave me some tips, beat grid section was very helpful.

  • Great vid! very helpful! Any chance of finding out what mapping Zeke was using on the maschine????

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!

  • now finally someone shows tyhe great potinal of maschine and traktor

  • @MrFlyboygully ... well, this info was already out there.. you just can't get it all in one shot. good stuff

  • hey thats thne spot that jack beats did there pioneer djm 2000 demo at cool shit

  • Realised I missed talking about a couple of things here - loop recorder and the zoom feature on the decks for beat gridding. For more info on these things, hit us up at Kosmic, or check the NI site for details... Leonard

  • I have to laught at the irony of using a Rane Serato mixer with Traktor. Awesome routine though!

  • @raverjezalenko - In the Zeke demo at the beginning, that's not a Rane TTM57sl (the one with the Serato interface built in). It is the Rane TTM56, which is a standard 2-channel battle mixer, the same that DJ Shiftee and many others use as their battle mixer of choice.
