Ha! He'll give her another baaby tonight. Why should they pay for Jack's funeral? The Church should pay for it, he's a priest. Let Rome pay, they suck enough money out of everyone and live like royalty at the Vatican.
Yes he does play dumbledore! As a matter of fact after the first dumbledore died the producer David Yates was watching dancing at lughnasa then was like omg! He's perfect for the part! No joke!
If you're watching this for revision, there are many themes to consider: music/dance vs repression of that expression/suppression of pagan rituals vs connection and dependance on the land... illigitemate children/spinsters having less status/it's a mans' world...
modesty, chastity, catholicism vs. the kind of freedom Jack developed in Africa - being exposed to that life released him of the confines apparent in the society at the time vs being so strict...
@makhseed Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm a chick! No Probs. I love this film, the play is awesome if you own it, keep it and revisit it! I wish I had. Looking for a copy now.
Meryl Streep is probably the only non-Irish actor that does not kill the accent :) Not perfect but the best I've heard so far!

@TheHUMANIDEE Is it me or does Jack's expression of christianity sound more pagan than catholic, which is my kind of christianity?
