Bret Hart was used so poorly in WCW. He was almost like what Kane is today in WWE one minute he's a Heel next a Face he was just randomly turned. One minute he is feuding with Sting as a heel and then in 2 weeks they turn him Face so he can team with Hogan. Then randomly turned heel and then Face like they do with Kane. It's like lets turn Kane face this week so we can reunite the Brothers of Destruction on Smackdown.
@geroysimon I remember he switched because NWOblack and white beat up Lex luger REAALLL BAD. Sting went all silent, left and came back that night as the old Scary sting! Loved the idea, they should have done more with that switching back and forth

i was big into wrestling from wrestlemania 1 to like 5. this is later, I've been catching up. some of this is ok but the OG WWF will always be the stuff. now bret hart goes back into that; mostly a heel but i love that fight with sting
In my opinion it would of been a better story line for Sting and Bret to get the belts when Bret looked like he meant to hit sting with the bat. Just another reason why WCW failed.
I started watching wrestling about '97, it just proves how much Bret Hart was unused in WCW because I had no idea for years how big he actually was in WWF, he was like the biggest star next to Hogan. But my impression of him from WCW was he's just a mid card kind of guy which is so wrong, he was idolized !

To say luger had no skill just isnt fair, and yet hes one the biggest stars ever, not just his time but ever. Bret hart made wwf in the 90s when hulk left that is a fact, bret brought alot of the people outside the states to be wwe fans, because of his ability to do it alllllll. wcw's BEST move wouldve been to 1) Make & keep Bret Hart as the champ 2) not let Nash break Goldberg's streak, in fact i'd have let Bret Hart or DDP break it much later. 3) kept the Wolfpac around

Bret Hart was used so poorly in WCW. He was almost like what Kane is today in WWE one minute he's a Heel next a Face he was just randomly turned. One minute he is feuding with Sting as a heel and then in 2 weeks they turn him Face so he can team with Hogan. Then randomly turned heel and then Face like they do with Kane. It's like lets turn Kane face this week so we can reunite the Brothers of Destruction on Smackdown.

@geroysimon he changed for this match because the Wolfpac version of Sting was almost as happy go lucky as the original surfer Sting and when he was told that he was scheduled to team with Hart for this match and saw Bret talking with Scott Hall and Giant through the show, he decided to bring the "lonely warrior" Sting back because he couldn't trust Bret at all

i was big into wrestling from wrestlemania 1 to like 5. this is later, I've been catching up. some of this is ok but the OG WWF will always be the stuff. now bret hart goes back into that; mostly a heel but i love that fight with sting

In my opinion it would of been a better story line for Sting and Bret to get the belts when Bret looked like he meant to hit sting with the bat. Just another reason why WCW failed.

I started watching wrestling about '97, it just proves how much Bret Hart was unused in WCW because I had no idea for years how big he actually was in WWF, he was like the biggest star next to Hogan. But my impression of him from WCW was he's just a mid card kind of guy which is so wrong, he was idolized !
