What the hell you got a T in there for? I keep T's myself and have a rose hair. She's fully grown around 8 inches and she's in a 10g tank. which is pretty tiny compared to that. Not only are you putting the T's life risk, with the height of the tank. The T will not survive due to the humid, they are from Mexico, they like it bone dry.
The frogs, I'm not an expert, but I am researching like crazy at DartFrogs. Get the T out of there serious. I am shocked it hasn't eatten your frogs or died.
WHY WOULD YOU PUT A TARANTULA IN THERE! THATS FUCKIN TERRIBLE. NOT TO MENTION FIREBELLY TOADS GIVE OFF TOXINS THAT ARE BAD FOR OTHER FROGS. DO SOME FUCKIN RESEARCH IDIOT.
The setup is pretty, but you should never mix those animals together. It may look neat and pretty and stuff, but it's unhealthy for the animals. As everyone else has said. Really do your research before throwing species together.
On second thought I'm reading cuban tree frogs are extremely aggressive and will get big enough to eat your toads! perhaps you should rethink your mix.
Really nice setup and cool music. I think that frogs and toads are a good combo, but the tarantula probably is not compatible. I would really like a video with in-depth explanation of features and construction methods of a frog vivarium.
um, fire bellied toads need waaaaaaaaay more water than that, like an entire pond of their own. They really like water. I say 1 fire bellied toad per 10 gallons, and that's it. I have 1 frog and I've had him for 6 years!!! I like giving him 20 gallon tank, with 2/3 water, 1/3 gravel and dirt "beach" with stones and rocks. This is an excellent enclosure for Anoles or tree frogs, but fire bellied toads prefer much, MUCH more water!!!!!!!!! And you have too many animals for one tank.
get some more creatures like anoles and possibly a hissing roach or any thing that will survive try somthing that flies like dragonflys put a larger pond in and get some fish and maby a house gecko sure some will get eaten but this happens in nature
omg what lucky animals 135 gallons for 6 frogs and a big spider, you should be proud of yourself, maybe you could get a newt or salamander aswell or a turtle would be really cool
its okey..but kinda a waste. i mean that big vivarium for a few fire bellied toads? you could go way cooler and get some PDFs! or idk some sick little salamanders. but fire bellied toads...lame.
Are u kidding me? U cant have this animals together, just 1 animal pr one terrarium, take the tarantula and one of the frog rase out therefrom NOW!!!!
HOW on earth did you make that so amazing? I am going to steal your setup so my babies can be that spoiled. i try....but fail badly to make my setups so nice.
Ver beautifully put together and managed, especially for a beginner. I can never pull off tropical wetland, i just stick to desert and woodland for my herps. Doesn't seem like a good idea for a desert dwelling tarantula to be in a tropical wetland tank with other animals...
The tank size has a too long length for a vivarium, it has to be like smaller so you can have a better view at it, its a nice set-up, but the tank size ruins it, thats what i think. But for the set-up itself, nice job
AWESOME TANK! but I think fire bellied toads are not the right choice for this one, they need 70% water and just 30% land in their tank. But you did an excellent job with the Tank!
is that a waterfall, you know, how some animals will only drink runnin water so, yeah, but awesome job! 5/5, also, watch the spider, they're very shifty.
nice work! that is a really nice vivarium. i recently bought a small exo-terra set-up, and i am going to put a firebelly toad in soon. i already wish that i had gotten a larger tank, but i am only a beginner with amphibian care (i had a few frogs and salamanders as a kid), so i need to ease into this hobby.
I never notice it because the toads are very small and they won't grow too much bigger.....No maintenance at all --- You only need to mist the aquarium about twice a day.
its important to have some of them in your terra gound, its not a must but if you havn't some mildew, bacteria etc. can grow to much if you have bad luck .....so it's better to use some
thats awesome to be your first viv!
