The seal theme is obviously chosen because of the fact that seals would be easy to animate and have mass appeal, I don't mind that choice... I'd just wish he'd had a better setup for it all. Seems like a waste of animation.

I thought it was HILARIOUS and I rate it at 4/5 stars. Obviously it was intended to be a comedy. No one would make Shakespearean sea lions for the purpose of a serious drama.
The music was jaunty and comical enough to set the mood from the very beginning. :)

This movie is terrible. At first, I thought it'd be pretty good...
First off, this doesn't even follow the story of romeo and juliet -.- well, BARELY. Second off, that annoying fish is irrelevant. and third, despite having great animation in certain parts, it starts to get very lazy after a while.
You allways watch these adaptations from Romeo and Juliet with that vague hope that they'll somehow end together, and alive, preferably, and when that actually happens it's adorable, besides it's a kids' story, I loved it <3
look the diffrentses are what makes this a kids movie! further more (this is my opinion like that was yours) Romeo and Juliet are impulsive idiots in the play and make me sick! these characters are just as impulesive but with some childish charm that makes them way cooller to me.
Well, considering that the entire film was animated by one man, the animation isn't that bad. I agree that the fish is irrelevant, but it was probably added to add some comic relief for kids (plus I think the animator/creator wanted to give his daughter a part).
Flash animation is pretty easy, though. I mean, it can be hard if you out alot of work into it to /not/ make it look like flash, which the first half of this movie looked great, the rest was just suddenly lazily done.

To tell you the truth. I really hated to see Romeo & Juliet die in the play but in this childrens film im very glad they didnt die in the end.

this is amazing that one person animated this, but even though its a kids film, i think it should have still been based off the real story of romeo and juliet. I mean i know no one wants to see 2 cute animals die at the end of the film, because its usualy a happy ending, but in romeo and juliet, they end up both dead at the end, so the kids learn nothing from the film lol! but anyway, i think this was okay

This movie is terrible. At first, I thought it'd be pretty good...
First off, this doesn't even follow the story of romeo and juliet -.- well, BARELY. Second off, that annoying fish is irrelevant. and third, despite having great animation in certain parts, it starts to get very lazy after a while.

You allways watch these adaptations from Romeo and Juliet with that vague hope that they'll somehow end together, and alive, preferably, and when that actually happens it's adorable, besides it's a kids' story, I loved it <3

look the diffrentses are what makes this a kids movie! further more (this is my opinion like that was yours) Romeo and Juliet are impulsive idiots in the play and make me sick! these characters are just as impulesive but with some childish charm that makes them way cooller to me.

Well, considering that the entire film was animated by one man, the animation isn't that bad. I agree that the fish is irrelevant, but it was probably added to add some comic relief for kids (plus I think the animator/creator wanted to give his daughter a part).

Flash animation is pretty easy, though. I mean, it can be hard if you out alot of work into it to /not/ make it look like flash, which the first half of this movie looked great, the rest was just suddenly lazily done.
