  • Sweet cd player, seriously portable

  • what about amazon?

  • whoa whoa whoa lets talk about prouduct lines that turn out to be shit

like american audio versadeck...or citronic same ?

vms4 then they release VMS4.1 fixed a bunch of issues but all the people with the first model there stuck with the sub standard unit

the radius 1000's 2000's( they stoped making 2000's) 3000's the whole line are crap my 1000's i have 2 both been repaired and currently one is in the shop i got hoed fuck you american audio

i feel gemini would have been a better choice.....

  • Just the way it's written isn't trustable

  • no its a camera

  • @Jchoy AMEN they are AWESOME it only takes like 3 or 4 days for my thing to arrive and they are in NY im in Cali!

  • I know what your talking about, there is a company in sweden that has:

misleading titles (for example it's a case and it says cdj 400)

    no garantee

and some you can only rent

  • B & H PHOTO ARE REPUTABLE DEALERS.

I've never had problems from them, but their prices are awesome!

  • that list is an absolute scam , no pictures no links , you would need to be pretty silly to go there , i dont have much pioneer stuff but i am defiantly saving my money to buy from reliable places

  • Can anyone recommend a dj-in-a-box for 250$ max? :c

  • @CovingtonOfficial Numark ICDDJ kit.

  • Also there are some countries selling counterfeit Pioneer & Numark dj equipment. I saw this in some of the shops in Paraguay on the border between Argentina & Brasil on a recent visit. I could tell it wasn't the real deal as the build quality was low, as was the price.

  • Hi I'm 15 years old and i'm saving up for some dj gear. I'm trying to buy 2 turntables and a mixer with a budget of about $600.i want something that will let me learn how to dj, so i can decide whether or not to buy more expensive, higher quality stuff. what turntables and mixers should i buy? i saw the gemini TT2000, which is in my price range. should i buy two of them?

  • @dahoe20000 i recommend hercules 4-mx and buy some headphones with the change :P

  • so its just like dealing with drug dealers

  • but not ebay. im selling a xone 464 for only 550 and its worth 1799, its great condition and i got it for the full price last year. but yeah you cant get good deals on new items safely

  • where is the cheapest place to buy pioneer cdj 900 ???

  • @conors996 internet, ebay

  • @conors996 directly through the Pioneer reps. There is fuck all margine in Pioneer gear when it hits the store so go closer to the source. I was in retail and sold the Pioneer brand, you could "befriend" a sales person by maybe offering a little cash or whatever for them if they can hook you up. Other than that go second hand or pay their extremely rich prices

  • Are there any places to but DJ kits? Like everything a beginner needs to start off is in one package

  • be pateint and Save up guys, the mans right!! That way you will appreciate your gear more! Buy shabby and cheap: you'll buy TWICE.

  • im selling a pair of pioneer cd j 1000 mk 3 .. for 1400 pounds .. anyone want to buy them then contact me .(used but brand new looking) . current market price for them for a pair is 2,200

  • there was one guy Piotr christo or something like that... promoting dj equipment, and when i asked him about a pioneer djm 800 he sai "its 700 dollars and if you pay today ill send you another one free" and well... i annoyed him until he blocked me on msn :(

  • @carnerotron roflmao

  • how is numark? is numark a legit reputable dealer?

  • Comment removed

  • I lol'd

  • hahaha theyve got like 3 different prices on the cdj-1000 mk2 lol

  • i know who this is selling these things and yes it a fucking big scam beware of the company topclasstelecom they are a scam big time

  • I dont see the site right now but I bet I saw the same one...lol F*** them

  • i want cdj 200 ;( but i cant find it any cheaper than 350 per deck

  • OMG that's the site i went to.:|

ok, but nobody buy'd something there so is there any proof that they are scamming??....

i would like to talk to somebody who really purchased something from the site...:|

  • lets face it dennon is better bang for buck..........example=dns3500 ...perfect...

  • inglish lol... its english...

  • what about ebay?

  • I saw a pack that has radius 1000 pair, mixer, and a hardcase for 1,000$. Should i get it? Help!!!

  • Cont'd...

It wasn't until he asked me to transfer the amount to a middle east account, meanwhile the site mentioned that they were in London... (His excuse was to evade tax so he can sell me at cheaper price); I decided to buy from a shop in Singapore.

Spending an extra almost USD 100, just to buy a peace of mind.

  • I was going to buy my Hercules MKII from one site I saw. It was about almost USD 100 cheaper than the one I found in Singapore. But after email the contact on the net, he just kept calling me non-stop pushing me to transfer the money... bear in mind that it was a long distance call. I felt uneasy. My gut feeling told me sth is not right. Cont'd...

  • and of course the higher the price the more quality you think you buy...it is just human way of thinking...10 years before, denon+pioneer were the THING,today things are changing and getting better...look at it this way=i love wolksvagen cars, but honest toyota is better car,BUT I WILL NEWER BUY ONE...you ondersend???

  • by the way, lazers in most brands cdj are all SONY standard, sliders and pots=ALPS ,switching power suply, and metal feel plastic parts with lcd displays from korea and what you buy extra is the SOFTWARE+PROTOCOL who controls cdj and gives you extra options for money....today are no more BAD STUFF.just cheap and expencive stuff....

  • *note dj'n is a passion not a car show, no disrespect, very interesting &cool things you've done here, please continue.. as for the products cheaper than you can believe they might have been factory b-stock items (meaning: didn't pass the initial factory test after made so they fix it & stamp it b-stock, then sold for much cheaper), "scratch'n'dent" or refurbished (meaning: used, maybe once broken). or like you say, con artiest...

  • i can tell you guys i paid for 2 cdj-100s"300 euro's" there like 10 years old but those are the cheapest kwality players you can get this moment!

if you want some cdj-1000MK3 youll have to pay at least 1300-1600 euro's in europe!

    good luck!

  • hey dude i'm a fan of you i'm watching all of your vids and now seeing this i got a question

..so i live in portugal and i want to buy an m-audio torq xponent..but right here in portugal its about 850 us dollars and i found some on ebay by 570 with ship include do you thing is a trust buisness? it's a good buy?

keep on going with all of your reviews and tips i'll be watching them all :D

    cheers

    p.s sorry my inglish

  • i saw this cheap gear on google i emailed them and after the reply i new it was bullshit

  • LOL @ that price list!

  • hahahahahaha an mk3 for 450???? hahahahahahaha

  • this guy works for Pioneer......

  • i got a DjM-600 on ebay for $500. I was a bit weary but the seller had like 99% rating and hundreds of positive feedback. It works perfectly, absolutely nothing wrong. Sometimes the super cheap deals are real when you find someone like an ebay store that doesn't know the value of what they are selling.

  • You may have gotten it for cheap, but it doesn't have the factory warranty from Pioneer....if anything happens to it, you are screwed, you have no support whatsoever.

  • True. but the parts that are most likely to wear out (crossfader, volume faders) are replacable. It's also in a case so droping it i'm not very afraid of.

  • i got behringer ddm4000 from ebay for 329e deliverd to my home and it rockes crazy.... i gess the electronics are made better and cheaper this days....and pioneer is just a name.....made in malazya so i dont see the poin of paying much money for cheap labor and parts from korea........cheers..

  • pioneer is better.

I have tried cdj from many diffirent companys

    But pioneer is the best,

Pioneers mixers are also amazing :D

  • who would buy stuff from a website that lists its items and price in plain text! ! ! commen sense...lmfao u buy from that site u deserve to lose your money

  • i got a technics 1200 mk2 for 190$ and a vestax pmc 05 for 100$

  • wow! really good deal! where did you bought them from?

  • ebay

  • and they work properly??

  • the turntable works and the mixer works

  • cheap ass gear sucks, I don't even have a mixer just an old technics EQ (I love old gear).

  • m 14 years old and i want to star learnig beacause i want to be a dj

what do i must to buy first

and i dont make money :/

    plesa awnser

  • I can see that you're fourteen from you're stereotypical typing. Anyway, try and look around flea markets and discount shops. If you can gain any money, make sure you get a Direct Drive turntable, I made that mistake when I was twelve. Secondly, get any disc jockeys gear, headphones, a mixer, stereo & port-a-table. Optionally you can buy some new clothing, because you don't want to DJ in a sweater that's far to small, trust me.

  • Im 14 too and i dj go on ebay and see what u can find what u should do is buy one turntable and a mixer and work on scratching and plug your ipod into the mixer soo you can practice to ure favorite songs

  • how about some denon

  • also look in the ad to see if its refurbished also....nothing against refurbs just be aware of what youre purchasing

  • Man, thanks for sharing this, most people aren't aware of this, and since today Internet will sell you anything for a cheaper price, people will go for it, and I also do it sometimes...

  • Good video, and we all do get tempted. But what about B-stock items are these any good or are these a stir clear aswell?

  • Any time they you find a great deal, but they want you to wire them the money before you receive the actual product, it is 99% of the time a scam. Pioneer (for example) has a list of authorized dealers on their website. Its always best to check that out if you want to buy from a person who claims to be an authorized dealer.

  • Great Advice..as always. BUT there's always people so stupid, they just want to believe they'll get something for nothing. It's the same with speakers. How can a 1000 watt 15" speaker and horn sell for $199 US? It's built like crap in China. And then they wonder WHY it doesn't sound so good after a month or so. LOL

  • not true...chine produce everithing today and it is for the "brands" so they sell the same product but without "brand" and is cheaper....say honest,if pioneer is bild in malazya with worker of 100dollar a month, tell honest how much is realy worth then??be honest!! 1000euro piece??? i DONT THIINK SO....!

  • i had luck when i bought my first gear

    2 cdplayers(denon dns300) and a mixer for just 450 bucks...made a great deal there i'd say

got real items (but he delivered them to my house so there was no chance to be scammed)

  • Thanks for this video. Can you do me a favor? I sent Lt electronics $900 dollars for some "cheap equipment". Never saw that equipment. Spread the word. Thanks.

  • @dephc0n1 do you electronics tax ltd???

  • sound info, not just for DJ kit.

  • Good video!

  • good man for doing this video, I hope no-one who isnt aware of proper prices falls into these nasty frauds.

  • Thank you for this video.

  • I came close to being scamed.

2 CDJ-1000's mk3 and a DJM-400 for $1900 NZ but they wanted me to send them money through WESTERN UNION money transfering company, apparently lots of scamers go through that company.

lucky I found out before i sent the money.

    bloody scammers!

  • Hey johnathon thanks for all the vids this year you crazy cat, Merry crimbo and roll on 2009 !!!!

  • Spot on my son! If you afford it always buy good stuff - even if you quit playing you'll get decent money back for it.

  • You right!! Were Im working we are dist. of everything for DJ & Audio and many people asked me prices, but when I tell them cost o items, they"re complaining, is a lot of money, but they don't understand that all items are original and no Refurbish!!! GOOD ITEM YOU ARE PAYING THE RIGHT PRICE, SIMPLE AS THAT!!

  • i whant to take and where is the cheep pioneer ???

    sorry my english is bad

  • yeh ive seen that add a few times online

  • i wishh

  • dude, this is why we have ebay.

  • He's talking about scam websites mate.

  • Thanks for sharing this important information. You are telling the truth. REAL DJ gear is not cheap. Not meaning too expensive to buy, just not horribly low priced. Lots of stuff is coming out of China with exact logo's, etc. BUYER BEWARE! "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is."

  • check out craisglist, theres sometimes real equipment there, and cheap. somethimes the odd dent and scratch, but you can usually use it before you pay the guy

  • Beware of fake items on eBay too! I purchased a pair of Sony headphones on eBay for a ridiculously cheap price. They ended up being fake and broke within a few months! I couldn't refund the product and I lost money in the deal.

  • Next time pay with paypal he he he

  • thanks .. look dangerous :/

  • that almost looked like my camera i have a kodak m893 is

  • Great Tips!

  • I'm Glad you've drawn the message across. Always buy from a reputable retailer, read the reviews that other customers have provided, and also WATCH OUT for Cons.

I have received Stock in battered boxes, or parts missing, I'll have to do a video about it.

    Nice One

    Max

  • omg...prices sux really...mind apple iphone prices above^^

  • i want it! pioneer 1000mk3 $350

    were can i buy it!

    i want it!

  • lol

  • Eeh is there a pioneer djm-1000 ?

Not as far as i know.. :P

  • yes there is!

  • DJ equipments are damn expensive outside US ..i cant even get hold of a decent CDJ.

    any recommendations?

  • Stanton C 324

  • contacme and I can give you a phone number an address of a store (They have good prices )

  • dennon dns3500 the best for the buck..!!!!

  • I found a sale on Sony MDR-700 headphones for like 16 bucks a pair on ebay. I knew that it was allot of bs but I ordered to see what they'd be like and they showed up but they were counterfeits. Although they were not as good as my other pair of real 700s, they actually sounded better than most phones that I would pay 75 bucks for. lol

Lesson to be learned here is buyer beware.

  • yea i nearly went for those too but decided against

  • good advice.. id say just stay to guitar center or musicians friend

  • These websites selling cheap or fake gear should be closed down immediately i mean if we know they're doing it why cant we put a stop to it ?

  • I found in some store HDJ 1000 Headphones for about 150 zlotych (about 50$, or 35-40 pounds).

It's propably fake of real HDJ, isn't it?

  • thers no such thing as a 800 mk3 haha

dont buy anything from any company without an address or phonenumber to contact them.

  • some company's do have phone numbers..... just exposable ones.... but yeah just use common sense :)

  • what the hell there selling cdj800mk3

    theres no such thing

  • Great advice -

  • arnt thease called knokoffs?

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOW THAT WAS REALLY REALLY REALLY CHEAP!! lol

  • THERE ARE SO MANY FRAUDULENT WEBSITES. SO MANY INTERNET FRAUDS. YOU CAN BE CHEATED AND END UP WITH NO MONEY AND NO EQUIPMENT. BE CAREFUL AND GET SAFE. BE SUSPICIOUS WHEN PRICE IS LOW!

There are many fake escrow websites. Its good to physically see seller and gear, but if you want to buy through Internet: GET VALID INFO ABOUT SELLER/COMPANY. I personally asked seller to send me picture with DJ gear + seller + piece of paper in his hand and my e-mail on this paper...

  • He's got a good point, but, it does help to become good mates with someone at a record/ repair shop..

  • there isnt even such things as 800 mk3's :D

  • haha lol!

  • yeh i almost went n bought a dream set up online... ebay scammers almost i said, then it became some western money bank transfer ,, dont go thier its all lies im glad i researched first, PLUS it helps to support ur local store for sure, now thinking of buyin Rane Serato Scratch Online on Ebay seen afew sellers but its a big difference from retail in shops to net so ill reaserch a lil more n get some advice or seomthing.

  • I find that if you get a price from one shop (like the ones who advertise in DJ Mag) and then contact another one they will beat the first price. Repeat until no one can go lower. If they cant go lower but can match the price its always worth asking for something in addition (i.e. free next day P&P)

  • If they are selling things for dirt cheap and you actually get the product more then likely the stuff was stolen and they are trying to move the product so the cops don't find them with it. There are people on craigslist like that and of course other sites.

  • i found the cheapeast pioneer 1000 for $1121.

  • don't beleive the hype, people.

    Buy the original stuff.
