I think Brian's blonder. You can see Brian Henson in a couple of the Baker Numbers sketches. He says, "Three peas!" after lifting a cover from a dish, and cries, "Six nickels!" after pouring the money from a piggy bank.
This is actually a very subtle exploration in otherness. Grover demonstrates that conceptualizing the I-thou is not as deterministic as we would oft have it.
A lot of us kids who grow up back East and have to breathe in all that humidity sound a lot like that. He sounds like he needs to have his adenoids removed.
I love this one! I agree. They need to get "elmo's world" out of there and bring back all of the interaction. I grew up with this in the 70's...now my 5 yr old loves it too. I show him old stuff....he loves Grover!
Oh heck yes; bring back the real-life kids on Sesame Street! If they need "Elmo's World" to stay afloat financially, Sesame Workshop should make that a spinoff show in its own right; they already treat it that way in at least two other countries.
I agree too. It would be a good idea to just give Elmo his own show and bring Sesame Street back to the way it used to be. Shame it will never happen though.
My 3-year-old daughter got a kick out of this. Anything with Grover, she just loves, because Grover is such a goofball. I, too, think they should have the muppets interact with children again. To me, "Elmo's World" is so overrated, and it takes up a good third of the show!!!!
that is adorable <3
hes a smart kid.
i would get confused if i was him.

They do? I know that a lot of other countries seem to have kept the older format, but I didn't know they had an "Elmo's World" spinoff.

Brian must've had adenoids.

Actually...I think it's Frank Oz; notice the similarity in the voice to YODA ???

They should have the muppets interact with children again. They gotta bring the old tradition back!

You mean They don't do that anymore?

To understand the context of "you" and "me" and explain it is very good. This kid must be working for NASA now.

Funny to think that kid is now probably pretty close to if not over 40 years old!

he looks about 5 so if this was in 1971 he is probably around 36 now.
