If he wasn't for the horrible "fair tax" thing, Id love him. I like that he wants to concentrate on helping Americans. But the "fair tax" thing is brutal. It means making everything cost about a third more. Like food, clothing, and rent. And not taxing income so much. But for those of us who have families and pretty much live paycheck to paycheck(a little savings) it would be brutal. Also, it would hurt business, I think. Too bad, otherwise this guy is great.
@lollipopfop Do you understand that you would get a prebate every month up to the poverty level so you wouldn't be taxed on necessities, and that number goes up the more kids you have? And it's not everything. If you buy used clothes or a used car, or a used house, or anything used, it's not taxed. And it would eliminate the income tax, not just make it lower.

Don't ever expect to get that from politicians. The only guy I've seen so far capable of giving concrete facts in terms of numbers and dates is Ron Paul. He doesn't need to skirt around the issues like Mike does. Go Ron!
not so. i have checked out ron after reading all these go paul quotes. he talks a lot about cutting govt. spending, and the like, but i never found anyting of a plan. that fairtax that huck is puching would be HUGE. and its a WORKABLE plan.
Maybe if you make twice what you spend, this fair tax thing is good. But many of us don't. Huckabee says his plan would make everything cost a third more, but then you wouldn't have to pay taxes. I have to feed a family. I can't afford to have everything be a third more expensive, no matter how low income tax went. Its not fair. Ill poay my fair share in tax, but Im not going to pay the same as someone that makes twice what I do, just cos they don't have a kid and spend less.

pff ok lol... too much general stuff nothing specific.
It would really help to say something CONCRETE, in the real sense of the word (such as "what" exactly and "how" exactly).

His plan is on his website.
for me it's ron paul or huckabee. If they don't get it, I'm voting for a democrat. My main issue is to end the war, NOW.
