@jeffnesbi C-max has been in Europe and mazda was given the cmax platform for NA.Mazda 5 is a ford.

Excellent! nice albeit unadventurous styling. The sliding doors are not a gimmick they are fantastic. Ask anyone with a Chysler Grand Voyager and young children. Remote electric opening would be essential.

Grand C-Max (or grand mav) has 7 seats and C-Max has 5 setas.

Seeing as the Mazda5 and C-Max are on the same platform and Ford has sold it's controlling stake at Mazda and the market shares of small cars has risen from under 10 percent to 22 percent in under a decade....it's not unwise to bring this over to the US.
