such a great tune! it should've been a bigger hit in the USA; not sure if it ever was a hit in America; but when I first heard it on a nite-time radio show about the BGs, i felt like I always knew & loved this song from somewhere. Some songs are like that- they become a part of you, esp. the great ones.

Holland was the FIRST country that DIGGED this song and it became a huge # 1 hit. They came to Holland, I saw them 'LIVE' in 1969 (my ex-hubby's band The Motions played as their 'Support Act '... ) and they became as popular as ever around the whole world. Robin and Maurice RIP...

@marmont48 PARDON? Holland? This song was first released in Australia just as the Bee Gees were leaving for England in 1966. It became their first No.1 hit in Australia - and anywhere else in the world. So Australia was definitely the first country that "DIGGED" this song!!! Defnitely not Holland!

magnificent! it must be amazing if we were in thier era. the dancers and the singer are properly dressed. comparing to the situation now, well just watch any concert or rock group performing on stage, ones will notice the dancers especially the girls will only wearing underwear and bikini or the singer will put the ring on the nose, not an appropriate place to put the ring, but they will call its, it is a trend. who could blame them?

Thanks very much for uploading this video. I was waiting to see this video in total length since I saw a small part in the original clip. This is really gret. Don't know what you did to make this possible, but thank you very well. Australian TV Archives should make ol ols stuff from the Bee Gees available I think. There is a lot, also here on You Tube and after some restauration work the should be able to release a nice video compilation world wide. Wim
