If the cancer patient theory is true, then there's the possibility that she wished to be able to eat sweets without consequence this wish would likely cure her.

She would then have to live with the fact that she wished for something so selfish, though, and this fact could be why she turned into a witch, if she had wished for something like "I wish cancer didn't exist" she could've saved tons of people.

Patients undergoing chemotherapy are unable to eat certain foods such as cheese, this would explain her hospital-based labyrinth theme and the location of her grief seed.

In that case, her caterpillar-like second form would represent unlimited reproduction of cancer cells.

It is possible that she was designed around the theme of bulimia nervosa, which involves restrained food intake, periodic and binge-eating.

@Donqco That's cool :O and a great interpretation of how Charlette could've became a witch and magic girl. But what if she was in the hospital for something else like an eating disorder. Maybe that's why there were sweats and it was hospital themed. The catipillar-like form of her could be a representation of how her eating disorder never ended, or how she kept eating, or even how she saw herself when she look in the mirror - ugly and moridly obese.

Mrs. Amai expressed a desire to have cheesecake with her daughter one last time. Kyubey appeared to Yuzuna, telling her that this wish could be granted, if Yuzuna formed a contract with him and became a magical girl. Yuzuna briefly thought of using the wish to cure her mother's illness, but rejected this thought as an impossibility. CONT'D

my theory is that charlotte was fat and had to go to the doctors alot for her health problems before and she didnt want to quite her sweets but she wanted to lose weight so she asked keyube to make her skinny without having to quite sweets but she went into despair realizing that she could have lost weight if she exercised but she took the easy way out that would explain why her clothes are so big on her and why her skinny little witch body let out this big huge monster that ate mamis head

Actually, it was Charlotte's mom who had the cancer. This was in the guidebook for PMMM. Whenever her mother would ask her for these things, she'd have to say no, resulting in her mother being mean to her. Because Charlotte was so broken by the this, she didn't think clearly, and when asked what she wanted to wish for, said she wanted her mother to be able to eat cake/dairy products again, without thinking that she could have asked for the cancer to be gone.

@deathshadow2492 Well the wiki says that the outer layer of the barriers relate to where the barrier is, while the inner parts, closer to where the witch lives, relates to the inner memories of the witch. On top of that, supposedly Puella Magi's emotions also somewhat affect the barrier as well. So we're looking at a constantly changing plane.

You can even fight oktavia if you let sayaka die. BUT... the symposium magrium theme doesn't play when you fight her. Sucks. But the wiki says there's a way you can change the game BGM by using an extractor on the game folders. I haven't given that a shot yet. That should quench your puella magi gaming thirst,
