Indiana Jones Map Test

i have to develop a moving map for aircraft where the map can be rotated,scaled and text on the map would be kept upright when rotated.for this i think i will have to add an interface to let users select the features.can u suggest me any opens source or free software i can use to make this please?this is for a project.so i have to put some coding also.please help me.

Thanks a lot! I have found it, what program did you use, 'cause in After Effects I see the whole image and not the map moving according to the line's direction. Once again thanks!

Absolutely great effects, only one question, where is that map from, looks pretty much like the Last Crusade one!

basically i just did an image search like old world flag and found a highish resolution one that looked old (i havent watched the films in a while besides the new one) and then i did some color correction to make it look yellowed and old. then some vignetting. thats all.
