umm well to unlock armor the material needed for that armor need to apear at least once to unlock it , and to like get s and u set etc you need to do high rank quest for the monster armor you wanna get[sorry for bad english]

break rathians face and wings, cut off tail too you might need to kill it a few times to get all the right peices

Yeah, you need to get a Golden Rajang Pelt in the rewards to unlock the sets.

Hmm. I forgot what I did, but I'm pretty sure it was just getting the Golden Rajang Pelt.

Do you have all of it's materials? Like the horns?

You should be able to break it with either.

I know you have a better chance of getting one horn if you break both of the horns off. As often as I have fought it, if I only break one horn, I don't get one in the rewards. So try breaking both off for the best results.

Med bone can be got from loads of medium sized monsters like yian kut ku, yian garuga, rathian, khezu(maybe) and some monsters like that and its kinda rare but you can get them from the aponoth(dont know spelling) herbivores in the desert
