Dari is just an official office name for it. The native dari speakers refer to their language as FARSI, dialects or not. Farsi is the same language spoken in Iran , afghanistan and Tajikistan.

First of all I applaud her courage to sing at the white house. However, she should have practice harder because in the first verse she was not able to hit the note which is extremely embarrassing given the venue. If this was an afghan concert it would be OK but this was in front of the entire world and the president of the United States of America. And of course afghan attire would have been awesome.

Dari is just an official office name for it. The native dari speakers refer to their language as FARSI, dialects or not. Farsi is the same language spoken in Iran , afghanistan and Tajikistan.

@mojomalong Dari is not mix with pashtu.indeed dari or farsi language has it own words,but when pashtu grammar created by the help of Russian in 1936,EX.Dr Nashinas got his PHD in Pashtu langu from Mosqaw, also they created the pashtu tolana,or academy ,by that they created some scholar words for pashtu such as:puhantun or university,puhanzai ,Loyajerga, welesi or parlemont..As pashtuns have had the control of the government,they forced Farsi people to use these words instead their farsi words.

First of all I applaud her courage to sing at the white house. However, she should have practice harder because in the first verse she was not able to hit the note which is extremely embarrassing given the venue. If this was an afghan concert it would be OK but this was in front of the entire world and the president of the United States of America. And of course afghan attire would have been awesome.
