The physical economy in the US has already collapsed. It is being masked by creative accounting, which will not last forever. This will have one outcome. War.
exactly. if US goes down it will pull the rest of the developed world with it.. therefore the only place to stay "safe" is developing and under developed countries..
i personally think we will end up having a ww3 or something eventually. It's not that i want one but i think global military conflicts are inevitable:( cause everything in nature has those "rhythms" those "ups" and "downs" things.. everything from ur personal mood to the whole fuking history of a humankind. And that's why we say that history always repeats itself. It really does.
I agree, there are a number of ways I think the "shit could go down" but I hope not. Our best hope of avoiding big military conflicts is if are economies rely on each other, if not were are all probably screwed.
Do you have a particular divergence of view; or you are upset that I suggested your world is an illusion?
I would be gratified if you do indeed have a particular point you are making - But most likely you have nothing particular to say outside a generality
By the way, the Market Oracle puts it up to 120 trillion, marketoracle(dot)co(dot)uk/Article5879(dot)html
The 10 Trillion in interest debt is available on many online counters I read it in the bottom right hand of my online bank page
Add together the unfunded liabilities from Medicare and Social Security, and it comes to $99.2 trillion over the infinite horizon Richard W. Fisher, President & Chief Exec Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank Dallas
u really dont have a clue about the global economy and how it functions do you?
yeah, you right in a way that no county would be affected if us goes down. Tho the economy of these countries will be. And no economy-no country. Trust me, it's gonna be a chaos for everyone. too bad if you dont get it.
about "Americans have an inflated sense of self importance"
yeah, maybe(they have a good reason for that tho) But im not american. i think too much
Americans have about as much respect for scientific & economic facts as they do for facts about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Americans are incapable of comprehending that solutions emerge from the judicious study of discernible reality.
Americans believe that expertise & facts do not matter; and this has a poisonous effect on young peoples desire to go into science; So now America has lost its competitive edge in R & D
Medvedev is a gread leader, Obama definetely better than macain, but a great leader? we'll have to wait and see

What im trying to get at is that if the U.S. goes under so does every other country on this planet. Its not that hard to understand
boscogump 3 years ago
What delusion suggests that if the USA "goes under" the rest of the world collapses?
Have you even traveled outside the country?
