  • First Drive? I didn't see a single moment of driving throughout this entire video; pathetic.

  • Who uses a wired mic these days?? WOW

  • dam yo AutoguideVideo that is ridiculous yo if you're interested in learning to dunk you have to go here now - 50 inch vertical (dot) com

    check it soon @#VIDEOUPLOADERID#

  • I agree the car is a great vehical, I have been driving it for a year now. Subaru has recognized that they missed the needs of my portion of thier market and have gone back and designed a roof top basket that allows you to add the cross bars needed to carry mor than 2 kayaks. The Subaru outback has always been a staple in the kayaking community. 30% of kayakers at the river were driving subaru, They have now stepped up to the plate and provided a solution which shows that subaru cares about us

  • you can put your weed in it

  • first drive? i call false advertisement...

  • abowt this car? what might we not hear abowt?

  • why wud anyone trust ur opinion over motortrend...which named it SUV of the year?

  • 1:51 "This way you have a wider opening so you can allow longer items to be put in."

    that's what she said.

  • the roof rack is lame and cant carry anything you need for outdoor activitys.

Is can not accomodate aftermarket crossbars such that you can carry 4 kayaks or 4 bikes

What a design mistake which rendered the vehical useless other than for carrying people

  • wow, you really seem to hit every outback review and forum. If you want to carry 4 kayaks - get a fricken pickup, not a station wagon.

  • @wlcohen

Or i could do it in my outback and get better gas mileage, to mention a smoother ride.

  • @wlcohen or get the baja

  • @kayakdad325 theres a bike rack that can be attached to the trunk of the car. kayaks can be carried on top of the vehicle.

  • @kayakdad325

The Outback can quite clearly carry more than just people. The average person doesn't need to carry so many kayaks and bikes at a time, and those that do can buy a more accomdating vehicle. There's no need to piss and moan because the Outback doesn't fit YOUR every need. It is a great car, and far from useless.

  • still looks like theres no leg room in the back.... shouldnt the ride height be higher-as much as a discovery's(maybe its the grass)

  • yeah, I got up close and personal with the new outback. And I'm 6' as well (lol a lot of average guys are 6' tall) And this CUV is about 5'7" tall and those rear doors are LOOONG! Rear legroom is like a minivan. The 3.6R Limited w/nav & leather is the best trim. Along with the Alpine Green Metallic as shown.

  • I doesn't really look like it, but it has lots of ground clearance--8.7 inches. More than a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
