  • Love how he performs a song that's not even on the album, that really shoul have been on wide awake but isn't even on that. He wanted to play trees, so he played it. Nothing amounts to Conor and the work he's done with Bright Eyes.

  • Yo, Americans. Do shows like this only get shown in New York or do all of America get it?

    Just wondering innit.

  • @kolopo908. All over the states. maybe even some other countries

  • He was rockin' that hairdoo long before Caleb Followill make it look douchey.

  • @SaddleCreek140 check out fevers and mirrors.

  • I've got the Lifted vinyl. ^_^ Favourite vinyl ever.

  • @MsNatakins I have every bright eyes on vinyl =] oh but it did cost me a penny.

  • @xinthisdiaryx That's amazing, i plan on having every vinyl of theirs in the nearby future! I hate how expensive vinyls are.

  • @MsNatakins The problem isnt the money... its finding the record that is. some of the eps are out of print and so is fevers

  • @teisco2 id say 'gained a wider audience' would work. i would have never heard of m.ward or jim james if not through bright eyes.

  • @teisco2 dude, i am sorry, but none of those people 'got their start' in bright eyes. ben kweller sang a little back up on Cassadaga, jim james sang on 'at the bottom of everything' on wide awake, and m. ward sang on the four winds EP. and thats it, really. at those points in their careers, they were already well known artists who had released multiple, very popular, albums on their own, so im sorry man, but what you said is simply not true.

  • yea those are the only studio recordings that they are on, but all of them toured with bright eyes before that. Im not exactly sure, but it sounds like Ben Kweller sings on "Make War" from the Lifted album. Im not sure if its him or not though. I guess "got their start" is the wrong wording, i should have put "gained popularity" kinda but thats not exactly right either

  • you're retarded if you don't think bright eye's drummer is amazing. listen to "old soul song (for the new world order)" dumbfucks.

  • dont get me wrong, im a big BE fan, but to claim any members besides conor, mike, and nate, are good is a little silly. the other members change all the time, almost on an album to album basis.

  • @mdale13 wow serious. He has other people play with him on every album cuz he likes change. He likes making music with friends and close ones. Hes not in it for money or fame, hes pouring his heart out, making music with friends and jamming out. Sure there are 3 main members but they are all members to me. They all help make bright eyes.

  • @xinthisdiaryx uh, i never claimed he was in it for money and fame. not even in the slightest. all i said is that its silly to argue about "bright eyes' drummer' when its a different drummer all the time. citing specific examples like 'well listen to him on old soul song' is silly, because it was likely a different drummer on that recording than is being shown here in this video. i wasnt attacking conor, or bright eyes or anything, simply stating facts.

  • look at who has been in the band at times. there are some pretty big names including M. Ward, Jim James, Ben Kweller. it think there is a list on wikipedia. you should check it out and there are some pretty big names that kinda got their "start" with Bright Eyes

  • Hes really not a very good drummer, playing all the beats at the right time, but just not especially good.

  • sooo goood, connor knows whats up.

  • i do like noise floor

  • he seems nervous...

    so amazing

  • That drummer seems like he was short-lived in Bright Eyes.

  • He is making a joke about how big vinyl records are

and he decides to go against taking a drink because he realizes that he's back on the air

  • this song is great

  • I've heard Lifted , but I still think that Fevers and Mirrors is their best.

  • That's like my least favourite album from them.

Get I'm wide awake it's morning or Fevers and Mirrors.

  • lifted has quality tracks too, like waste of paint is demonstrative of his true musical genius.

  • nothing gets crossed out, lover i dont have to love, bowl of oranges, the list is endless

  • I think it's the best album. Maybe just as good as WAIM

  • I might just do that G1njas

  • yeah definately get lifted

  • is it like ur fav. band?

  • yeah..i love bright eyes

  • @Kaidesh That's cause you have the best taste ever!
