Hi, I just started looking into this subject of flat/decreasing(?) birthrate in Germany. I do not think that it has got anything to do with Germans not having sufficient sex:) From my point of view, it seems to be a combination of several coincidal factors (in no particular order): 1. the state not sufficiently supporting parents (tax, kindergarden etc), 2. employers still quietly discriminating against mothers/fathers, 3. a cultural mindset that still favours the traditional gender roles.

Ich jedenfalls gehe mal davon aus, dass die 60 Millionen Deutschen im Reich sich als Deutsche sahen, ebenso die 10 Millionen Deutschen in Österreich, und sogar die Deutschschweizer und Luxemburger sahen sich damals noch als Deutsche.
Einstein selbst tat das aber nicht. Er sah sich Zeit seines Lebens als einen Angehörigen des jüdischen Volkes und schimpfte über die Deutschen.

The birth rate is decreasing in all of western Europe, not just Germany. I just got back from Kaliningrad (formerly Konigsberg Germany). There, women walk in high heels, flattering outfits and they have flattering figures. If the west (including the US) would put less emphasis on de-feminizing women, maybe the birthrate would go up? I saw babies every day and a wedding celebration almost every day in Kaliningrad.

Hi, I just started looking into this subject of flat/decreasing(?) birthrate in Germany. I do not think that it has got anything to do with Germans not having sufficient sex:) From my point of view, it seems to be a combination of several coincidal factors (in no particular order): 1. the state not sufficiently supporting parents (tax, kindergarden etc), 2. employers still quietly discriminating against mothers/fathers, 3. a cultural mindset that still favours the traditional gender roles.

Dass die Nazis pervers waren, sollte jedem bekannt sein. Deshalb haben sie auch die Ethnie (oder "Rasse") der "Deutschen" eingeführt, obwohl es soetwas gar nicht gibt. Jude sein ist doch keine Ethnie, die Ethnie ist Israelit, und Israelit waren nur die wenigsten Juden, die meisten waren gemischt mit Mitteleuropäern. Von daher erübrigt sich die Diskussion aus meinen Augen.

also erstmal sprach man damals nicht von einer deutschen rasse sondern vom deutschen volk. weiter war die rede von der arischen rasse. das einfach so durcheinander zu bringen, also bitte. und wie kann bitte eine politische gruppierung eine ganze rasse einführen? und wie schonmal geschrieben, nicht andere leute geben den juden den statuas einer rasse, sondern die juden selbst und sie unterscheiden dabei nicht ob einer neger, asiat oder sonstwas ist. aber schön dass du so engagiert bist.

Ich frag mich auch, wie eine bestimmte politische Gruppe anderen Leute eine Rassenzugehörigkeit zusprechen kann, oder wie es diese Leute selbst können. Anstatt Rasse sollte man den Begriff Ethnie verwenden.
Aber lassen wir das überflüssige Gerede über die Nazis, wir Deutsche haben uns schon lange genug damit rumgeschlagen.

Das sehen die Juden aber anders. Natürlich verstehen die Juden sich als eine Ethnie, auch "deutschnationale" Juden taten das, wie Walther Rathenau. Er ging davon aus, dass die Juden einen eigenen Volksstamm Deutschlands darstellen -- er definierte die Juden also auch ethnisch.
Und auch die übrigen Deutschen gingen schon seit dem Mittelalter von einer deutschen Ethnie aus. Nicht umsonst war es damals nur geborenen (!) Deutschen erlaubt, Ämter anzunehmen.

I am a Badensian, "Badener" in German, not "Badenser". We Badensians or "Badener" are often mistakenly referred to as Swabians, Hessians or even Bavarians! If there would be a true Republic of Greater Germany, Germany's most beautiful places would be Baden, South Tyrol and southern Styria ;)
