Local people, even the street stalls were very nice and full of tourists hanging around all over. well, I have to say, I did noticed that there is A 3rd world standard still in some area, young children working and many many girls selling themselves tho...

@Lucymisser I thought so too. However, if you look a little closer, the 'girls' are often guys. I'd take exception to it being classed as '3rd world' - it has quite a lot of high tech industries, and is not a poor country.

Japanese in Malaysia usually hang around Mid Valley City in KL, Mont Kiara, KL, just to name a few. But I guess you didn't come all the way to Malaysia just to see Japanese people...

@pigjedi I went to Malaysia alone had absolutely no problems , got lost in a pretty dodgy area as well but people were very nice most of them spoke English so no problems whatsoever - not really 3rd world in my opinion - have a look around Romania Bulgaria Poland and other countries in the EU which are supposedly 1st world you will find that Malaysia is much better in many aspects. I am not bashing any of those countries being from one of them myself
