i got a question why does my 88 mustang gt say it only goes up to 85 cuz i was racing a malibu and when my car got to 85 i was still winning

speedometers will show a certain speed depending on the car, give or take it usually is around the top speed of that car. However, just because your speedo says 85, doesnt mean the car will only do 85, it just only shows up to 85. For example: my mustang has a speedo of 140, but ive taken it faster than that.

depends on lx or gt.. some came with 140mph others came with 85mph clusters... in canada they came with 180km or 220km clusters.. it all depends on if the car was ordered or bought straight off the lot

Here's my story, I live in Istanbul now.

I own a newer bmwv10 m5.

My uni. years in winnipeg and calgary I owned a 87 5.0gt ragtop for 4 years. Modded to the tits. It was the sweetest sexiest fastest car I have ever owned, got me way more pussy then my v10, I still cry over my purple 87 gt pony. Loved it to fucking death, still have dreams about it. I wish parts were available here, they do fall apart easily. MUSTANGS 87-93 are the best never die engine cars ever!
