People, what else do you wanna ask for? This guy flew Econ class so expect the food. Don't be too picky. Just eat it for Christ's sake. So many people including this guy who obviously aren't the 1% but try to act like one.

the food vary from what destination your going to for example if your going to malaysia you would get malaysian choice food or if you go to any country the food would be its destination culture.

Emirates provides better food than this and it's layed out better aswell on Emirates and I would say Emirates should be the worlds 5 Star airline infact the world 7 Star Airline :-)

@airplanes1000 I dont agree with you, the food between QR and EK is probably very similar and it depends from which destination you fly. I completely dont agree with you regarding the layout, on the A330 and A340 the layout is similar, but if you fly the 777 (200/300) the layout with QR is 3-3-3, see the layout with EK, it's 3-4-3, what is the better choice now...??? I will fly in 10 days to Jakarta with QR, I will report you. But the food in my earlier 12 flights wasn't that bad!

Skytrax opinion = NOTHING !!!

I worked as a flight attendant for Qatar Airways and we are 100% not 5* Airline.

So Skytrax is stupid reference for final choice!

e.g.

Animals in the circus are not friendly and gentle as they seem, they only live in torture, with 24hrs fear, punishment if they make a mistake and that is the same way with the Qatar Airways (cabin) crew....

Boycott the circus, boycott Qatar Airways !!!

@deryaalltid I agree with you. I've been hearing lot of good things about Turkish Airline. But I remember in late nineties all of their planes used to be old with aged staff and poor service. I was a Med Student back then in Romania and used to travel on Turkish and Tarom. Food was fine though.

@deryaalltid Perhaps but Turkish Airlines is not a 5* airline like Qatar Airways is. This isn't Qatar blowing their own trumpet. SkyTrax have awarded Qatar Airways the best airline of the year award in 2011. Moreover, if you check passenger reviews, you will find most are very satisfied customers. Their average rating is currently 9.1/10. That shows a high level of passenger satisfaction, compared to 6/10 for Turkish A. Im not saying that Turkish Airlines are bad, but they are...

@EnnCamp the food is all Halal, they recently won catering award. But the Food on flights to US and Europe is much better than on other flights.
