  • i have had prepaid alltel for 3 years and have never had a problem....i recommend it actually

  • It's Easy Buy Your Phone @ Wal-Mart For $20 Comes With Free $10 Credit. Activation Online Is Easy. Go To The Alltel Activation Website. Fill Out The Info, Register For My Prepaid To Get Bonus Minutes And Refill With Any Ammount @ An Alltel Store (U Could Put $1 - $200 Only @ An Alltel Retail). Had Alltel for 3 Years Untill Stupid Verizon Came In. But When I Move To Ohio U Can Bet That I'll Reactivate With Alltel.

  • It's amazing how many people cannot spell THERE instead of THEIR

  • everyone i have ever known has used prepaid phones plus me i or they have never had a problem with them they are not a rip off and i have returned prepaid phones and i have always got all my money back. and i have never heard of a prepaid phone for 99 cent that right there should have told you it wasa rip off

  • if you got a phone for 99 cent it was not prepaid

  • Just get Boost Mobile

  • Someone please help me. my phone has been deactivated for over 90 days since i lost it a while back and since its on prepaid service verizon can't reactivate it. does anyone know any service i could put my phone to besides verizon? PLEASE someone help me out here.

  • I'm sorry to here you were an unlucky customer towards Alltel. You should have gone to walmart and buy the prepaid phone FROM them. I have not had issues with alltel at all (even after the merge with Verizon). Alltel has ONE OF THE BEST prepaid services (75 cents a minute for 2 out of 4 packages -- unlimited texting, mobile 2 mobile, favorite #, and unlimited night & weekends). I own the samsung delve and it is the best prepaid phone imo!!!

  • correction on the post, its 75 cents a day.

  • not to be rude or anything but thats why i just go to walmart or bestbuy to get a phone

  • well if u had went to the alttel store it wouldn't have taken you 3 darn hours just to get ur phone activated! I have alltel for almost 5 years and i've been through 5 phones and now on #6! I haven't had any problems with alltel since, I had the same plan since day one, I pay 50 a month for 400 anytime minutes, 2000 night & weekend and 750 texts! and I am a person who hardly ever uses the phone as well!

  • ur so gayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • Wow, I bet it took you all day to come up with that one.

  • Another intelligent response. You must make your parents so proud.

  • Hi Tim,

Chad from Alltel here. We intentionally scammed you because youre a little faggot.

    Thanks!

  • u are a dumb-ass i have a alltel prepaid phone the lg scoop and i love it if it took u 3 hrs to try to activate it then u suck at life it took me 8 mins to activate mine so yea and im 19 so what..

  • They give you a choice of a couple of phones, then you buy the service, The phones are very cheap. Mine was 1.00. but be aware if your unhappy with the service they will not give you a refund on the service or hours you bought. I spent about 80.00, was not happy with the service and they wanted to refund me only 1.00 for the phone. This was after 2 days of having the phone.

  • i have a question. On buying prepaid phones from alltel, do you buy any phone from alltel and then choose a prepaid plan, or are there certain prepaid phones?

  • I have a prepaid phone with Alltel and it's pretty great. 20 bucks for a camera cell and I only pay about 30 bucks for mins. Activating it is simple because they have instructions to do so. If you can't uderstand instructions then sucks to be you. I wouldn't have brought the phone online anyways cause of course it's going to be high. You were better off getting it from Wal Mart or some other place that sell 'em. And quit trying to back this guy up. No one is dumb enough to go through that.

  • its amazing how immature ppl are on here. "ur stupid" and "go to school and learn somethin"... man some ppl are dumb. this man is just trying 2 help someone out if they encounter the same problem that he has. thank u for your insight sir

  • No, thank you, you just restored my beliefs that their are some appreciative, intelligent people out there.

  • The sad thing is that some of these responses are coming from Alltel employees. They must be browsing the internet in there call centers. One genius even had it posted that he worked for Alltel on his profile.

  • youtube is basically a safe place for cowards to say what they would never say in person

  • Very True

  • @tim8155 shut up you dumbass. No one cares about your stupid little problems you dumb fuck. Get a life you loser. So what if a little thing like this happens to you, it only happend because of your stupidity. Stop blaming the wrong people you cry baby. Grow up.

  • u jus dumb as hell i jus got a prepaid alltel phone at walmart for $26.00 and went home took me about 3 minutes to activate and its the best and cheapest phones I've ever had it works perfect free nights weekends texting and calling to one person that I can change everyday for one dollar a day thats it i dont know what your talkin about

  • yaa me ether im doing what u did whats up

  • DOUCHE BAG!!

  • I dont mean or rude or anything its just had to believe that you couldnt get a phone to activate go to verizon or something youtube is not to gripe about what happens bad in your life it is so you can watch music videos and stuff im just saying go to verizion and drop it it would be the best thing to do no one needs to start a fight over something that happened at a phone company!

Hope you have better luck!!!! (with verizion)

  • I had a an alltel prepaid plane worked really good then we got a real plan it was fine you must not have a mind or somthin my 3 year old sister can work a phone

    Heres some advice:

GO TO SCHOOL AND LEARN SOMETHING FOR A CHANGE IT WILL DO YOU SOME GOOD!

  • Hey i have virgin mobile and i have a monthly plan i brought my phone at walmart and then i had some problems with it so virgin mobile send me a brand new one. Also i found out with walmart i had a 30 day warrent but i did not want one from walmart again so i had them send me one out and it works great have had no problems with it so thats why virgin mobile rocks cause now from the day i did it i have a 60 day warrent with virgin mobile so that rocks and i have unlimited texting for 10 bucks

  • Everyone that posts a comment on here"must be and alltel employee" according to tim8155....you should buy two tin cans and string...I hear activating it does not take that long.....DUH

  • ur stupid i have had a alltel prepaid phone before and i am getting ready to get another and the are great ur just old and stupid and dont know how to work a cell phone

  • ok for one i have had atleast three diffrent alltel phones and they are the best. i got mine at walmart like a normal person. and it works great and for 1.25 a day i have free mobile to mobile wich now includes the 80 million in the virizon network and i have unlimited texting unlimited nights and weekends and i can call my dad on the t mobile network too. i think it is great!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ur ugly as hell jajaja lol and fuck u im getting alltel prepaid and ur ruining it even thou i dont believe ur uglyass

  • I have had many prepaids from many services such as: NetZero, TrackFone, Etc Alltel Prepaid is the BEST service I've ever used... Pay Per Day Plan

  • ok dumb i just went to walmart today n bought a 26 dollar prepaid or w/e n it gave me 10 dollars to my account n 60 mins n im happy with it...u shoula just gone to walmart

  • Im an employee for alltel

actually if you should review first what

you want for a plan you wont be asking FOR CREDITS!!!!!

  • well yeah i mean u can't return minutes or activasion fee thats just common sense u should of just had them fix your phone instead of making a big fit about it and let them activate the phone...it would of been that easy

  • Dude you're an idiot. Learn more about something before you buy it.

  • What kind of phone did you get for .99?

  • Defensa24 is "undeducated." Alltel says they have coverage in Salt Lake City AND you can buy the phones from Maverick convenience stores.

However, it's ROAMING coverage... it's a lie, a farce. Alltel needs to stop LYING to the public.

  • You're a very uneducated person when deealing with prepaid phones. Thats why you got scammed. If you had done you're research you would have known that prepaid phones are non-refundable. Duh. Also airtime is non-refundable. Now...You're ready to give prepaid another try and stop blaming the company for your stupidity. Ouch, truth hurts huh?

  • I apologise for teasing you. as for our "real" colors I would say they are true blue :)

  • the scammed and dejected masses are waiting for you to stand up to those corporate fat cats. start a class action lawsuit. we are the evil British you could be the peoples beloved william Wallace...

  • You Alltel employees are great at showing your true color. Thanks again for showing the masses what kind of people work at Alltel.

  • I suppose if it is illegal, than all you have to do is bring suit. I'm sure this non-refundable prepaid issue is explained in the Eula and you failed to notice it.

  • Would you got to court over 100.00, Alltel know this is very unlikely to happen. Thats why they get away with it.

  • I also have an Alltel pre-paid phone, but when i activated it(i bought it online) i went to the alltel website, created an account, and then added money. I was ready to go. Sorry to hear of your trouble.

  • i know alltel offered to repair or replace your phone for free. for whatever reason you chose to not accept those options. the whole idea behind prepaid is that you pay in advance. our service is nonrefundable. we make money on when you use and do not use your phone. we don't give our non-prepaid customers discounts on their bill when they do not use their phone. you pay in advance and if you dont use the minutes, that is your decision. calling alltel prepaid a scam is unfair.

  • I love when Alltel people respond and assume they know what Alltel did in response to my problem. This is one obvious flaw you have just confirmed. I don't care what your policies are because a policy is just that, it's a policy. It what you wrote by Alltel. Its not the law. There is something called services not rendered. Look it up. If you don't provide a service, you can't charge someone for it. Your company is breaking the law.

  • Seriously, if their company was breaking the law, wouldn't you think that they would already be out of business by the government? And I suggest you read very closely to what all these people posted and think about what it all means and take into consideration of what they are saying. Stop being hardheaded is all I'm trying to say.

    ~MIN4

  • i am an alltel employee. it's very unfortunate that you had technical issues with your phone. and i can see why you are upset concerning the 100% satisfaction guarantee. The 100% satisfaction guarantee applies to service and products for the first 15 days of service(20 if you purchase online). no corporate or online channel will refund prepaid minutes. it is my understanding that all prepaid wireless carriers do this. walmart and best buy are considered agents and can refund what they wish.

  • This is only true if you purchase the phone online. If you purchase the phone in the store... like walmart or bestbuy you will get the full amount back that you paid. the reason they do this on online orders is because people do use the phone and then return it after using the phone for a long time. The phone bought online are brand new the ones in stores are refrebished and recased for cell....

  • i guess we'll read receipts and terms now, won't we?

  • You have to be smarter than a postage stamp to use it though...it does not say that on the receipt either.

  • Sounds like another Alltel employee

  • i already have an alltel prepaid phone. thanks.

  • righteous. I'm glad you put this video up. Despite the mass amount of people who actually disagree with you, it's good that we have these kinds of videos on YouTube. I don't like Alltel...I was on it for about three years, and I got scammed out of money a lot. I was "roaming" literally every time I left my county, which happened a lot. The fees are outrageous! I switched over to Verizon a few months ago, and I haven't had any problems with it so far.

    But yeah. totally righteous.

  • Alltel Prepaid is awesome. Just because you couldnt figure out how to activate it, doesnt mean you can go bash alltel. There Customer service is fantastic. You should have gone and talked to them about it. they would have helped you. I wouldnt have dropped the service. Alltel is my favorite phone company ever!!! [and no im not an employee]

  • We'll I did spend time with them and waisted over 5 hours going back and forth with them. It wasn't that fact that I could figure it out. There own employees don't know there products and could not activate it. If you think it's ok for a company to charge you 100.00 and only refund .99 cents, when it states right on there documentation 100% satisfaction guaranteed, then I would love to sell you brand new unactivated phone I have in my draw collecting dust.

  • i call bullshit on the "my daughter got a 15$ a mounth phone from virizon" ..not even Virgin Mobile (the cheapest cellphone company) has rates that low!

  • Im 15 and I went to walmart, purchased an

AX275 camera phone, and told them to make it prepaid, and it took me two days of attmepting to activate it before that actually did. i was never told anything about transaction or anything, i bought the phone for $60 alltogether and put $20 on the time. plus $15 free because i bought it at walmart. thats all the cost ive had, ive had it about two monthes and nothings gone wrong. but i wouldnt suggest buying one form anywhere but walmart. its easier lol

  • Thats nothing, you wanna know about a real scam?? call Alltel and ask for an itemized list of you text messages, you will be shocked to find that you need a court order for them to give it to you. so they can charge you however many texts they want and you pay with no profe that you even texted, dont believe me just try it, its messed up. any one wanna sue them with me?

  • what kind of phone wuz it?

  • My dad owns an alltel store and that shit doesnt happen!!!!!! u could get the most expensive phone for prepaid!!!! its only cuz u were being cheap!!!!!!!!

  • That's great that your dad owns a store, but your dad doesn't own Alltel, he's just one of the suckers that pedals there product.

  • i have a alltel prepaid phone and i had some problems with the activation 4 like three min but other than that it's great. you should have taken it back 2 the store sooner and asked for help that's what i did and the service has been great.

  • I have a prepaid alltel phone. and its been pretty good to me. I wanted unlimited text with it for 25 cents and I guess they forgot to put it on there so I just went up to the alltel store and they fixed it up for me. Activation was fairly easy. I dunno how you have problems with it

  • your an idiot...if you couldnt activate it your self over the phone(dang technological adolescence)then you should have gone to thier store...it takes like 1minute...

  • furthure more...if you read what the statement says it says that you will get a refund for the phone but not the other stuff...you have a big office but a small mental capacity. Don't talk bad about a company just cause you can't learn to deal with your own issues. I own an alltel prepaid phone and after being with cingular, verizon, and boost, I can say that this is the best service for prepaid.

  • I've talked to my friends who also have alltel for hours and still only pay $30... unlimited text...$30....and free nights and weekends still only $30.

  • Gee this sounds like another ALLTEL employee.

  • Well in case they were not, heres one.The "transaction fee" is actually a "activation fee" that you will pay on ANY wireless provider to get your number and voicemail routed to you. Also like posted above you got frustrated and decided that you didn't want the phone anymore simply because you couldn't activate it.The wonderful reps at your local Alltel store would have no problem helping you out.Dropping the service because you couldn't activate it by yourself is a horrible reason to bash Alltel.

  • Is it really $1?

  • Tim,

First of all that was your chose to purchase ac.99 cent phone. There are other phones you could have purchased. Furthermoe, Dallas Texas is not an Alltel market.

    Does someones credit sucks?

  • Not to Brag, but that office you see me in is my home study, and it's probably bigger than your whole house. So to answer your question, no, I don't have a credit problem. I just want to avoid a 2 year contract with a wireless company.

  • With that attitude why are you surprised that they wouldn't help you. I have had Alltel for 3 years now and have never had a problem that couldn't be resolved at the store. You should have done more research or asked more questions about fees and cancellation policy. And as for your spectacular office, whats to say you didn't buy all of that with a credit card and then never pay for it. Just cause you have a lot of stuff doesn't mean you have a lot of money or cents for that matter.

  • And maybe you don't know this but you can avoid a contract by buying a phone outright. They only force you into a contract if you accept the discounted price on a new phone.

  • I know your headache. My wife bought one of these phones to take on vacation with her. It took her 4 hours opf attempting to place the minutes on her phone before she finally gave up. She just stated she would get her mother to help her when she saw her. Odd thing my 13 year old daughter managed to place the minutes on the phone in less than two minutes. The instructions made absolutely no sense to my wife or I, but my daughter had seen this done by her friends.

    (Continued below)

  • Needless to say, my wife gave my daughter the phone and got a verizon wireless phone for $15.00 a month.

  • Yes, It's just a nightmare dealing with a company like Alltel or T-Mobil. Basically if go through the activation instruction and the phone still does not activate, you might as well through it in the trash, because there support most likely won't know anything about the phone. Heck, those geniuses can even transfer you to the right department with out hanging up on you.

  • I work for Alltel and have to deal with R tards like you everyday. Try learning the details of the phone before you purchase it. It tends to help.

  • Thanks you. You just validated my point and the fact that Alltel hires employees like you, that don't care about there customers and call them names. Your the second Alltel employee that had something bright to say like that. You represent the true color of Alltel very well.

  • alltel doesnt have a pre pay like your wanting so y even bother you should have went to tracfone hello u can get a fone 4 like what 15 bucks and like what 25 cents a min i dunno i dont use pre pay , its a rip off n e where u go

  • Thanks for posting. These big companies are just out to screw us over and over and over again.

  • It's too bad you had problems using the phone. But why wait until three months of non-service to complain? Surely you tested the phone to make sure that you could make and recieve calls. IF you use a phone as infrequently as you say, I think Tracfone's prepaid service would be great for you. You could buy a basic phone cheap and load it up minutes that don't expire for a year. Just make sure you have coverage first (they use either AT&T or Verizon towers, depending upon where you live).

  • Thanks I'll check it out.

  • Alltel Rocks Mann...You Dont Know What youre talkin bout....If You Used the alltel minutes they would charge you right?

  • They couldn't even activate the phone. What video did you watch?

  • Go get a sprint or verizon phone.

  • ALLTEL rocks

p.s...dis is in the dictionary look it up

  • That's great, "dis" is in the dictionary.

Then you should use the word as much as you can, especially at a job interview. Alltel would hire you.

  • really, ill have to look into that

  • i work for alltel and first of all...pay your damn bill!!!..and secound of all dont be a cheap ass, GET A DAMN CONTRACT!!!!

  • Yes, you sound like someone that works for Alltel. I would expect an Alltel employee to talk to me just like that. You just proved my point. Alltel is a terrible company to do business with and you are the type of person they hire to handle their customers. I'm sure Alltel is proud to have you on their team.

  • wow you sound like a faggot tim

  • Nice, sounds like an intelligent reply. You must be very educated.

  • So, i would recommend a virgin mobile pre-paid phone if you currently do not have another provider (that is of course, unless given the unfortunate circumstances you were put through by alltel (a.k.a. the devil) you no longer wish to have a cell phone)

  • I'll look into it, I'll give it one last shot with them. Thanks

  • i agree with u alltel sucks and i tried a tracfone pice aa shits dont even work where i live so thats why i have verizon and verizon has a great prepaid service that i tried but i just got a plan from them so im happy with my new orange enV:)

  • Your dumb... if you can't figure out how to activate it.. and secondly prepaid is for the people with shitty credit.. don't dis alltel or tmobile... boo hoo on you...wanna clean x

  • Wow, that really sounded like a well thought out comment. I'm sure you're just one of those people that know everything. I get that idea by the way you use the word "dis" and "wanna". You must be very educated on this subject and in life in general.

  • that is why you stick to virgin mobile.... they use several carriers so you get several networks and thus a much better signal. Plus, it's easy to set up yourself so you don't have to spend a cent on activation fees or any of that crap. the phones are relatively cheap and several of them you can get for free if you purchase $20 worth of minutes.
