Every country has the sovereign right to decide who its citizens are. Moreover, any passport issued by the Russian government pursuant to Russian law is a valid Russian passport.

You can argue that the Russian government's actions are unhelpful or that its use of force in South Ossetia and Abkhazia ia unlawful, but this is a separate issue.

A soverign government has the right to issue passports as it wishes. Look at Israel; it issues passports to anyone from anywhere in the world as long as they are Jewish.

2) All numbers, and inscriptions are placed in wrong positions.

3) Original passport has no frame around national emblem on the cover

fake means (obyasnyayu dlya tankistov) because:

1) they have the consecutive serial numbers (which means they've been issued at the same time, say, in the same month) but they have different issue back dates starting for example in 2003, while that particular serial number couldn't be issued earlier than 2007 or 2008.

2)there's no or fake signature of the person on whose name the passport was issued, which means that the person has never applied for the passport and never seen it before.

3)the photo on the passport is not of the person on whose name the passport has been issued.

3)No person that never ever lived in the Russian Federation, is not ethnic Russian, doesn't have any residence RF, or family or other links to RF would be granted Russian citizenship (which is confirmed by a RF passport)according to RF law and practice. On the occupied territories even outside of "South Ossetia" and Abkhazia they force the residents to accept Russian passports (which are actually fake, never been applied for, have either wrong names (or names of people who died years ago) or wrong photos, or wrong, back dates, and never been signed.

They need those fake "Russian citizens" so that they can justify aggression and occupation by claiming they "defend Russian citizens".
