Sad that I never heard about this film but we always hear about the next films about hood gangs hood fights and hood porn so many of us black ppl don't realized we are still slaves in the mind WAKE UP
T.V rotts minds the world doesnt want you to be intelligent ,the world wants you to see what the goverment wants you to see, hear, wants you to think you need cars, girls, money to be happy thats why everyone spends there whole life thinking that one day maybe i can be rich instead of being them selves learning loving....
They should learn from Europe. Hip hop there is political. Reflects the misery and the problems their countries have. "I hate bling bling, ya'll look like chicks with dicks!"
I grew up with rap, and I lament the decline of rap that focused on lyricism with a conscious and an awareness of political and social involvement. Considering the corporate machine controls what entertainment we're fed, its no wonder that rap morphed into a tool of control by promoting violent, misogyny, homophobia, gun-hungry music with no sense of clever lyrics and soulless lack of a bigger message. They want us stupid so we wont see the bigger picture. Control. Of our mind, body and soul.
to be fair, most girls i've met (stupid berb white girls who are probably the main consumers of mainstream rap) really dont give a fuck, they can't even wrap their heads around lyricism anyway, all they care about is the beat so i doubt they even realize they're being shitted on. hahahahaha....colored people, way to make white people look even dumber. Support independent hip-hop!
Yes....he did say "colored people". Apparently, it is only a problem when it is a white person saying it. Colored people, people of color, yellow man, redskin, white man, black man, honkey, blackie, whitie, etc.....it is what it is.....let's get past the bullshit! as soon as we can get past the differences we have and get to what really matters, the similiarities, we can function as a united people. What brings us together is far more powerful than what pushes us apart. Peace out my biatches!
I'm going to say this right now. YOU WILL NOT LEARN ANYTHING ABOUT BLACK CULTURE AS A WHOLE from RAP lyrics. That stuff is nothing more than exaggerated fairytales based off movies like Scarface and the Godfather.
If one man gets killed it's a tragedy. If a million get killed, it's a statistic. Stalin said that. How many wars have black people started? How many jews have black people murdered? There are good people and there are bad people, regardless of their skin color. The brain isn't colored differently. A human being develops exactly the same: it assimilates knowledge from the environment and the external stimuli from the day it is born. Who you are is where you grow up, who you grow up with.
ok... there is a problem with this..when a rapper says the B* word he isn't saying that toward all women. it is a big diference between what you think they mean & what it is in reality. thus the only reason it is a big debate in hip hop is because of their skin color. other than that its a big biasis that there is. when nelly is rapping tip drill he saying the girl is unattractive thus the only reason he would talk to her is she has a big butt. people look hard to hate things then they spread it
its just music, but yes i agree it can influence, most likely the young.
In life there's always consequences, ppl should not care about other ppl lifestyles if whos right or wrong, unless they fuck with u, fuck with me ill fuck you right back, haha anyways... because, sooner or later shit happens..
if you look for trouble chances are youll find it. I love hip hop and rap, but as you get older u mature and begin to see things different.
For the rest of you making racist comments about colored ppl...
You all need some time to reflect and really analize yourselves! It's really ignorant to speak of things you have no idea about! Be skeptic and dig deeper! Unless you learn the lifestyle then you will never understand it!
some hip hop is stupid and stupid people listen to it but thats not to say its all like that some rappers have a message and the smart ones hear it and respect it
I love the essence of hip hop and my IQ is 125-130. That type of thinking is stereotypical but you are correct in the sense most rappers now days are below average and listeners as well. But that's the whole point I guess. You dumb them down and you get more sales. The more critical they can think, the less money in your pocket.
my manz did u know that Canibis joined the army? making songs about being drafted and such? Uz a hip hop listener isnt it suposed to have a rebelious adjective to it? Corruption is all up on hip hop my manz, I hope u open your eyes on that... Canibis...lol
Yes, I know Canibus joined the army. Do you listen to Him? How currupt is Can? And what is corrupted by? Do you understand his message? My eye is open! Have you visited my channel?
I don't even know if we can fit him into the rap genre anymore! He is just so far ahead of the pack is amazing! The thing is he is just so intellegent that the average listener has a hard time understanding the vocabulary he uses. They have to have a book out and be ready to do some research while listening! lol
Too bad all you see nowadays are the talentless gangstarappers that talk bout them bitches and them other homies they capped. Just a bunch of talentless attention whores.
Real rappers, the people with talent, the people with good lyrics etc. Are hard to find. Its mainly the reason i dont listen to it anymore, its all crap, and if it aint, its too hard to find.
too short to reach into the depths of the problem. but the sentiment is partially there but just not in length to fully tackle what's at issue. nice effort. i appreciated it.
Hip hop lost it's *value a long time ago. Hip Hop has power, but if it used correctly, it can turn a nation into a state of paranoia. That's why the government started to attack rap music because it was so political back in the 80's and early 90's. If there is ever a movement in hip-hop, it needs to be about the *hyprocrisy that we face everyday.
canibus,jay,prodigy,2pac, all exposed this, media, music, are all run by one group..the illuminati, you think mainstream rappers actually have a mind of their own, they just want the cash and will do any record for money
yes speak the truth man that's y tupac died also all of you watch the jay-z deception series and satanism in hip-hop, the illuminati are powerful families and also watch zeitgeist- the movie: federal reserve all 5 parts by the same guy that made this video, MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU
love this one... nothing more i can add it hits the nail on the head.
just wish ignorance wasn't so highly propagated along side with all of this, among other things, so that you could sit down and actually talk to people about this stuff without having ppl getting offended and even feeling like their being attacked.
angry music that mention, killing, sexist comments, gangs, power is stupid. thats why I hate this music. Theres never anything good. I rather listen to folk music.
Those Parental Advisory Stickers I think played a part in increasing profanity in Rap. Because they highlighted the cds and tapes with the "bad" words so more people bought them. Then the emphasis became about cussing to sell. Those stickers are counter-productive.
