Thomas Kinkades paintings are beautiful. I like the fact he found his calling so early when many of us keep searching. It is a lot of work managing your own career but it's rewarding when people appreciate your work. You have to keep a great attitude with people. Just imagine drawing, painting everyday of your life and then people actually liking your work. Thanks Kinkade for your inspiration.

"Sophisticated" artists; those who are more apt to look down on Kinkade are suspect to me because I think its less about what he paints than who he is; a Christian artist, who is unafraid to share his faith. I went to a univ. to study art. They are all about sex, death and gore. I left it. I now either study with masters or on my own. Universities are overrated, expensive, & extremely biased towards Christian artists. T. Kinkade is just marketing his craft, just like any other artist. So what?

You like what you like. TK's paintings are good, in my opinion. Art is about opinion, you can't say it's a fact that his art sucks. Maybe it doesn't live up to some standards, but who cares? Art is about what you like, what touches you.
