Malaysia Airlines Airbus A330 Takeoff Runway 14R at KLIA

A330 is the direct competitor to B777. Airbus has stop producing any A340 as it is less fuel efficient and not the favourite to the airline companies although it is the longest aircraft in the world (I mean the A340-600).

But B777 is still my favourite as it has zero fatal accident record and the -200LR version is holding the longest range record of commercial airliner @ 17,370 km. Besides, the -300ER holding the record of the largest engine ever built in aviation industry, the GE90-115B.

A330-300 is bigger than B777. And, when I was in somewhere where aircrafts always pass by, 1st was an Air Asia A320-400 then a MAS A330-300. The A330-300 was super loud and about 8X louder than the A320! The A330-300 uses Pratt and Whitney ... engine but IDK the A320.

@Nat2370 There isnt any A320-400 only the 100/200 series. A330-300 uses GE and RR and on some aircraft, the PW4000. Air Asia's A320s are fitted with the CFM-56-5B Engines.

@teddy96 Sorry, I had a typo there. I mean't A320-200. But on all MAS A330s, they use PW engines, which not many other airlines use(the engine)

B777 has no (what do you call) at the end of the wing but A330 has. You can even see 2 Air Asia planes der LOL

i always used this aircraft. there is two series of Airbus A330. the 300 is only got straight Business class. But, 200 is half by half business class. A330-200 got TV inside by each seat. But, A330-300 only single LCD. But, the aircraft has upgrade LCD and Wide.and beautiful seat.

r u kidding fariz79....A340 is longer than A330...in fact, the A340 is a few feet longer than 747...the A330 is a few smaller than 777...if u look from far it will similarly look like in a same size...

I think it would be the same size as a340, except it has only two engines.
