. Older mercedes are like one of the best kept secrets of cars. The trade in values are low so you can pick em up cheap. . I have a 1992 300e. Cost me $1500. Of course the one in the video will fetch around 20k. But you can find low mileage diesels in the late 80's early 90's for around 6-8k in great condition. and non diesels for around 3-5 k .And it will be a better ride than any newer chrysler, toyota, ford ,chevy etc that you will pay 10-15k for.

Have a Golf (rabbit) mk1 GTD from 83 driving around in right now. it has 530.000km on the odometer and is running like a champ with the turbo pressure tuned up a bit. These German cars runs forever. I have a video where you can se me cold start it in -12C. Check it out!

In Germany it was only offered with a 230CE + 280CE Engine. Diesel engine for 4-door Sedan only.
