I dig how you explained boxes, the sadness of minor chords versus the happier tone of the major chords and how to turn the scale into music, letting your emotions take control and guide you as you play. I am hard core learning scales at the moment and your video definitely helped me put together some missing pieces to the puzzle.keep rocking and thanks for sharing your knowledge......peace

sry to post again but... i went to your channel to see the next one and there's not one. Dude, do us a solid and give more detail about the boxes and transitions between them. Your too good at this to stop now!!!!
Thank you--this was a really great overview. I'm just beginning, and this is just what I needed, good information, well explained, thorough, and good advice, too. Much appreciated!
playing a few notes & bends in one box then sliding into another I didnt know that, I leant the 5 box in E pentatonic but didnt have a clue what to do with it, this info has been a great help thanks man.
Yeah that was really helpful my problem with learning the guitar is trying learn all the different individual notes up and down the neck as well as the difference between the chords when there is just one note difference. I think you should do more scale lessons it is very helpful
well g major and e minor are actually all the same notes just starting from a different note. but to answer your question you do stay in the same scale. however when you become more advanced you will learn other ways to take it out of the box and make some interesting sounds
Good job man. Thank for posting. Appreciate you sharing ur knowledge.
