Has there been many accidents? I live in Leicestershire where we have a massive number of granite quarries (You do to don't you) and there are lots of kids, dogs etc. go over the edge or drown in the pools at the bottom.
@KAOSRIFLE We have had kids stuck halfway up cliffs, thinking they are an easy climb, which they are not. Years ago one person committed suicide by driving off the cliff in Guernsey. I don't ever remember any people or animals falling in our quarries though. Although part of a cemetery fell in one of our quarries years ago which is used for water for human consumption and the bodily remains had to be rescued and reburied.
