Wow what a great point of view. Took bad that androly fool thinks its fake. Everyone likes to say fake when its poor image quality, ye thats what happens when you zoom in on camera phone.
FAKE! You can clearly see this was made using a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and some crappy 8-bit editing software!! Look at all the pixels! Even Colonel Custard's penis has more detail than this!!
In all seriousness though, and subtracting the OMG exclamations, that was pretty cool, thanks for posting.
@Androly No, sorry to diappoint you but this is NOT FAKE! I took the video myself on my way to Florida on vacation. Sorry if it wasn't up to your specifications.
Fuck that ...... i'd be more concerned and yellin' from the rear of the plane - HEY PILOT , KEEP YOUR FREAKIN' EYES ON THE GAUGES AND WATCH THE SKY IN FRONT OF YOU GEORGE JETSON !! PARANOID PASSENGER BACK HERE !!!
@AVIATIO Your right !! .... that's why i'm probably paranoid due to the first plane ride i ever had - which was on Northwest : ( ...... story TOO LONG to print ....
You lucky, lucky people. I live in the UK and cannot possibly afford to go to America to see a launch. But with footage like this and others I can dream. Thankyou so much for posting. xxx
Wow, you must really be living in the dark ages..thinking its 'Flim-Flam'. Im not starting some religious crap or anything, but seriously, do some research first, let alone sole searching..there is more than what you think out there...much, much more.
If that isn't an insult, I don't know what is. From the outset of this farce (that you've turned this into) my intention was to offer a light-hearted observation of people applauding individuals who would have no chance of hearing them (namely the Astronauts) - but you had to Pyscho-Analise it and completely miss what was essentially just a bit of humour. Sometimes you just need to laugh. It's an expression of Joy - Try it sometime. ;-)
and one more thing....it is the best view to see it from an airplane...you dont have to stretch your neck!!! I know i didnt....seeing it back in 94.....when the shuttle is that high up itis going about 3 thousand miles per hour....those solid rocket boosters and the main engines are giving off some serious thrust.....it is certainly worth the wait to see i hope you all get a chance to witness a launch before they unfortunately discontinue the shuttle flights in 3 years or so.
back in 1994, i saw my first shuttle launch in July....space shuttle columbia. I saw it from an airplane just like you. The pilot said that the shuttle just took off....about 12:15pm and you can see the launch from the right side of the plane....it was amazing. saw the liftoff...and the bright bright orange yellow glow.....and smoke and it was moving fast. It was amazing...something i have never forgotten....
That is the Space Shuttle "Wasted Tax Dollars" going to space to dock with the space station "Inflated Gas Prices" in order to provide security for a country from a war that is providing their current President with Billions of dollars of personal income. They're clapping because he'll be gone shortly. Me too.
We can go all day with this one. Yea, Welfare, Space Program, Iraq, Bin Laden (he was the guy that is "responsible" for the 9/11 attacks in case anyone has forgotten who he IS not WAS), Bailouts and etc. and etc.. Land Of The Free, I mean Fee.
You seem like an intelligent person..aware of whats happening..But I wouldn't call it a waste. Money needs to be spent..Even I don't completely agree with it all the time. But we can't stand still as a human race either...
Well I usually say that I don't give a shit, but since I just accepted an offer from a company that make parts for the Space Shuttle, here it goes......... YEY GOOOOOOOOO SPACE SHUTTLE!!!!!!! Go Space Shuttle...it's your Birthday. Sorry I was listening to rap and my IQ went down 100 points and now I'm a "G". I be havin no idea what that be meanin doe, foe sho........................... Okay I'm done
try 17,000 mile per hour in orbit. Is it in orbit no. It is probably going around 2000 miles an hour. Of course it is constantly accelerating the whole time two so the speed is never constant until orbit is reached
@matttt1989 dude you don't have to come trolling his channel he just wanted to show a shuttle launch from an airplane, besides it could be real!

Applause exists not only for the persons begin applauded for but also for those who enjoyed what was being applauded.
Ever cheered during a game you watched on TV?
I'll never forget the massive applause in the first Star Wars film, and even heard some during the latest Star Trek film.
It's an expression of joy. Try it sometime.
