The accustics in this room are great. Much prefer the big room sound over the little one. Not that you have a choice really, but the use of the grand uprights adds a lot of character also. Record more in this room if you can.

Listening to this and looking at the Joanna Newsom project website again it makes me sad because I absolutely adore Joanna Newsom but I can't read or play music to save my life. My ex-girlfriend plays the piano brilliantly, she adores Joanna Newsom but I'm not likely to see her again in my life and I really wish I could at least to tell her about this. 'En Gallop' was one of 'our songs'...

i know you've said before that you're waiting to convert your finale documents to pdf, is there any way you could post the finale documents themselves in case we have the software? there's a place on finale's website itself to be able to do it.

The odd thing about it all is that certain songs that should've been hard to transcribe weren't, while others that should have been easy were difficult. Sawdust & Diamonds was cake, but I can't get through Clam Crab Cockle Cowrie.
